Kowalski
I don't support the charity. I also got more enjoyment out of reading the paper than I would from some sweets. Even with that cheeky wee smile of yours?
Tyrant
Then why not stick 74p in a help for heroes tin then buy a Chomp & 6 cola bottles? I'm fairly sure a chomp is only 15p. I'd sooner swallow 74p than give it to "Help for Heroes".
capitalsharpie
Paul mcmullen is an odeous individual. Epitomises everything that is wrong with the press. He should never be givin a job in the printed press again after those valuable insights he spewed forth. Why anyone after this would buuy the sun on sunday is beyond me. Kowalski
Rumours circulating that Gordon Brown is going to make a statement saying his phone and personal bank account have been hacked, but its the Sunday Times this time. Possible statement at 4.30. Kowalski
http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2011/jul/11/phone-hacking-news-international-gordon-brown Details from his infant son's medical records were obtained by the Sun, who published a story about the child's serious illness. He should never be givin a job in the printed press again after those valuable insights he spewed forth. Why anyone after this would buuy the sun on sunday is beyond me. He's an odeous individual who epitomises a caricacture of the press. There's a misconception that people like him are the rule rather than the exception. They're not. He's was widely discredited within the industry long before the present revelations. This is like a pressure cooker that will destroy Murdoch's empire if it blows, but people are going to get sick of this story before that happens and anyone significant gets punished. All that's happening so far is he is set to save a lot of money. I don't like the way 24 hour news makes this a 24 hour story at the expense of everything else though (like Cameron preparing to sell off EVERY public service in the UK). glasgow sheep
1517: More reaction from BSkyB. The broadcaster says it is delivering on a "clear and consistent" strategy and building a more "profitable business". It thanks its staff for their "unrelenting focus" during the furore over the News Corp bid. 1516: Mr Watson says the scandal will "run on and on" until someone at the top of News International takes responsibility and apologises for "creating a culture in a newsroom that would allow a journalist to target the phone of an abducted 13-year-old girl". 1515: Labour MP Tom Watson - who has led the campaign against Rupert Murdoch's company - says "the nation is getting angrier and angrier about this, because the real issue is that there is no corporate humility from News International". Kowalski
If it turns out that News International hacked or attempted to hack the phone numbers of 9/11 relatives or victims then I don't think Americans would ever forgive Murdoch - that could really hurt his empire then. maverick sheep
oh whoops. being arrested means she won't be appearing at the select committee to answer questions about illegal payments to the police. funny that... these cunts aren't going to go down. the whole fucking establishment is implicated so all the gears will turn to cover it up. murdoch saves money and fuck all else happens. edit: out on bail and confirmed to appear. would be amazed if she answers anything though. police have totally fucked this investigation.
