On Thursday 28th July we invite all those supporters who have purchased the new home shirt to take part in this once in a lifetime opportunity to star in the AFC team photo. And not only will you star in the biggest team photo, you will also be the FIRST fans to see the brand new Dons away kit - as modelled by the first team on the day. Once the team photo event is finished you will then be given the exclusive opportunity to purchase the new away kit before it officially goes on sale to the public on Friday 29th July. The Richard Donald Stand turnstiles will open at 4pm and we encourage all supporters to arrive promptly as you will be required to register for the photo. There will be entertainment on hand to amuse the youngsters while you wait to be called to take your place in the stand and catering will also be available to purchase. The photo will be captured at approximately 6pm, once the management team and squad have been seated. It is vital that all those attending are wearing the new Dons home shirt and have their voucher which entitles them to be in the biggest team photo. Every supporter who participates in the photo will be entitled to one printed copy of the exclusive team photo. A voucher to claim your photo will be issued upon registration.Copies of the photo will be available for collection from the club store from Monday 15th August. Quote

dave_min Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 I did wonder what the fuck the tickets were for. I can't make it though, so if anybody wants a couple tickets...... Buy the fucking strip you tight-fisted, Aberdonian cunts! Quote
Rebus30 Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 I did wonder what the fuck the tickets were for. I can't make it though, so if anybody wants a couple tickets...... You automatically get a ticket when you purchase a home strip, and you need to turn up wearing your home strip in order to participate so your tickets are basically useless unless you send the top along with the ticket to someone . . . Buy the fucking strip you tight-fisted, Aberdonian cunts! Quote
Kowalski Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 If you get there early enough you're in the squad for Saturday. Quote
Penfold Posted July 28, 2011 Report Posted July 28, 2011 Pleasantly surprised with the turnout, much of the RDS lower was full. New kit revealed too: http://www.afc.co.uk/javaImages/db/1b/0,,10284~9837531,00.jpg[/img] I bought it, looks better in the flesh. The white is in 2 shades horizontally sort of like this: The goalkeeper top is the black one that the U19 keepers were pictured in over the summer. Quote
manc_don Posted July 28, 2011 Report Posted July 28, 2011 Looks very smart. Think that will be the one I'll be getting! Quote

dunblanedon Posted July 29, 2011 Report Posted July 29, 2011 Loving the new away kit. Shades of 84 when the horizontal stripes replaces the legendary 83 shirt. Good work fellas. Quote
Tyrant Posted July 29, 2011 Report Posted July 29, 2011 Foster's boots are still shit. The Sky Sports nEws coverage of this was embarrassing. First the reporter referred to the RDS as the Robert Donald Stand and then he went on to tell Craig Brown that Aberdeen had already exited Europe this season. He meant Dundee United but his basic knowledge of Scottish football was pish despite being Scottish. Quote
Kowalski Posted July 29, 2011 Report Posted July 29, 2011 The away top looks quite good, I'm buying it! Quote
glasgowdon Posted July 29, 2011 Report Posted July 29, 2011 I'll be buying that one as well, looks mint. Quote
Penfold Posted July 29, 2011 Report Posted July 29, 2011 Canna decide if it would have been better in black & red: http://www.swindontownfc.co.uk/javaImages/b9/dd/0,,10341~9821625,00.jpg[/img] Quote

manc_don Posted July 29, 2011 Report Posted July 29, 2011 It is now, just ordered mine Do the new shirt sizes make a big difference? I think I should be fine with an M but want to wait for a mate to try one on before deciding. Quote
topcorner Posted July 29, 2011 Report Posted July 29, 2011 Do the new shirt sizes make a big difference? I think I should be fine with an M but want to wait for a mate to try one on before deciding. They're tiny. Reckon you will be an XL now Quote
