wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

Is it the constant goals or the prodigeous work rate that put you off?

I know that we havent always seen the scoring goals thing as a desirable trait in our strikers

We've been in dire need of a cunt upfront for years. I mind Naismith when he was at Killie, was an absolute cuntmeister of the highest order ... got right up our noses. But knew where the back of the net was!

We need a right cocky shite in our team, someone who gets locked up every third weekend, gets seen oot on the town with a Cardassian, and who is alleged to be a member of the George O'Boyle & Kevin Thomas Appreciation Society.

Closest we got to a rogue recently was Lee Miller going a little bit too fast through a speed camera.

absolutely agree RDU. Can't imagine having that cunt would do more good than harm over the piece. Besides, Wolves are after a transfer fee so it's not even a possibility.

Would much rather ask Wednesday if they'd give bebo to us on loan til Summer.

Wolves are aware of an alleged racist comment made on Twitter last night by Leigh Griffiths.

The Club condemns such comments in the strongest possible terms and are extremely angry and disappointed.

The player is currently on loan at Hibernian FC and is likely to remain there for the rest of the season.

He is, therefore, subject to the disciplinary procedures of Hibernian FC and those of the Scottish Football Association.  However, Wolves are in dialogue with Hibernian and are making their feelings known on the matter.

Hibernian FC today confirmed that it had spoken to player Leigh Griffiths about exchanges on a social media website. The player had realised that despite the provocation, the language he used was totally unacceptable and had already apologised for what he said. The player has closed access to the account.

The player supports the club and the whole of Scottish football in its stance against racism, bigotry and anti social behaviour. The player will be subject to a disciplinary process which will be a private matter between the club and the player.

Is it really Griffiths that's the problem? There seems to be a recurring behavioural problem at Fester Road over the past few years. If its not drug possession, its being kicked out of nightclubs, or nicking cars, or racist slurs. Been happening for years at that club

Bit of both IMO. To a certain extent, Hibs maybe haven't cracked down on this sort of behaviour in recent years. However, lets not forget that we have had the same problem (Diamond and Paton) but that seems to have been an isolated case. As you say, it seems to be a recurring theme at Easter Road. However, I think the main problem doon Leith way is the fact that they have signed utter fuck-wits who have shit for brains (O'Connor, Riordan, Griffiths etc).

Scotland international footballer Leigh Griffiths is understood to have been arrested on suspicion of shoplifting in a supermarket.

The Hibernian striker is believed to have been detained by security guards at a Tesco store in Edinburgh.

Lothian and Borders Police confirmed a 22-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with an alleged shoplifting incident.

Griffiths is likely to appear in court at a later date.

After the incident, Griffiths - who is on loan at the SPL club from Wolverhampton Wanderers - tweeted that it had been "something over nothing".

He added: "got taken to the back, asked about it, looked on CCTV and I was away, simple as that!"

Other tweets said: "Iv been caught shoplifting but I'm tweeting? Pretty sure I'd be in a cell??? Think about it! #hugemisunderstanding" and "Not been caught shoplifting at all".

A Hibs spokesman said: "The club is aware of an alleged incident which took place on Saturday afternoon involving the player. This is now a police matter."

Griffiths, who has scored 15 league goals for the Edinburgh club this season, made his full Scotland international debut against Luxembourg last year.

Earlier this month, he was criticised for telling someone to "go back to your own country" on Twitter.
