The Scottish Communities League Cup 3rd Round Draw took place at 11:30am on Monday 29th August 2011. The fixtures are as follows:

 

St. Johnstone v St. Mirren

Ross County v Celtic

Kilmarnock v Queen of the South

Falkirk v Rangers

Motherwell v Hibernian

Ayr United v Heart of Midlothian

Aberdeen v East Fife

Airdrie United v Dundee United

 

Dates for ties - Tuesday 20th or Wednesday 21st September, 2011

 

Brilliant draw, and Hibs v Motherwell too which gets rid of one of the spl sides.

Unless there is an upset there is not an easy/interesting game the next round - should be all SPL.

Come on its the BBC - they are being fair and giving the people of Ross-shire coverage on the TV for once. In no way are they being impartial and showing one of the OF as usual, its just a coincidence.

I'm more surprised they went all they way to Dingwall rather than the shorter trip to Falkirk:
