mizer Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/Article.aspx/2448585 Craig Brown focused on battle with Motherwell By Charlie Allan Published: 23/09/2011 BACKING: Craig Brown said Aberdeen FC chairman Stewart Milne has been 'tremendously supportive'. ABERDEEN FC boss Craig Brown today admitted he’s now under intense pressure to prove Stewart Milne was right to take him to Pittodrie. Brown knows his team has to go on a winning run – starting with tomorrow’s SPL clash with Motherwell at Fir Park – to take the heat off everyone at the club in the wake of their humiliating League Cup defeat by East Fife. Brown’s own disappointment at the result has been made even more intense because it’s Milne who has faced the flak from many Aberdeen FC fans angered by their latest cup exit at the hands of lower league opponents. Manchester United and Scotland legend Denis admitted he was worried how the board of his home-town club would react to being knocked out of the League Cup by a Second Division side. He is delighted Aberdeen FC chairman Stewart Milne has backed manager Craig Brown Oh Dennis Law says its ok - so its ok then! Quote

mizer Posted September 23, 2011 Author Report Posted September 23, 2011 A fair few favours being called in this week. Whats next? Annie Lennox - I have not been to Aberdeen in years or care for the place but Stewart Milne is the man for the job The Shamen - There's a guy in the place He's got a bittersweet face And he goes by the name of Stewarty Milne His friends call him Eezer and he is the main geezer And he'll vibe about the place like no other man could He's refined, he's sublime, he makes you feel fine Though very much maligned and misunderstood But if you know Eezer he's a real crowd pleaser He's ever so good, he's Stewarty Milne Quote
BigAl Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 Bollocks....complete and utter bollocks Regardless of the job, if you're headhunted for it, surely from day one you require to give everything you've got to prove you were the right man for the job, rather than only once you've underperformed and come under pressure. rocket_scientist Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 I also find little to dispute with the vast, if not all, the sentiments being expressed on here. A refreshing change compared to another AFC webchatspeaksite, housing an annoying percentage of fucking ignorant fools. It ain't working Craig. You and swearer Knox aren't recruiting right nor preparing and motivating right. Adapt or die. The propoganda spouted from Milne and his sycophantic arselickers is horrific to watch. Who, other than Chrichton, is prepared to say it like it is? Quote
