wi_09 Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 I couldn't get the game on Radio Scotland but have it on Northsound. http://radioplayer.northsound2.com/ They made it sound like a belter on the radio but on BBC it just says "Goal scored by Fraser Fyvie from just inside the area to the bottom left corner of the goal. Aberdeen 3-0 Dunfermline." Sorry I can't give anymore than that! Roll on the Beeb highlights!! The stats make great readings - 9 Shots on target, 4 shots off target, 8 corners and 62% possession!! frewdon Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 Lead up to Fyvie's goal was superb. Great possesion play and one touch passing before Fyvie finished it off. The type of goal you would see replayed over and over if it was in the English Premier League. It was 4 going on 10 tonight, Gallagher saved the pars from a humiliating score with at least 4 great saves, (watch out for his first half save from Vernon's header). we also hit the post and bar on four occasions as well as Pawlett & Milsom missing 2 sitters in the second half. Add to that the near misses and it shows the complete domination the team had tonight. Although there was only one change in the starting 11 it was like a completely different team, with everyone putting in a great shift. For the first time this season, you couldn't critisise any of the team. Oh! and the strange sensation of cheering them off at the end. More of the same again please!  Quote

manc_don Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 Great to read, I look forward to the highlights for the first time in a long time! Quote
Tyrant Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 I could have sworn Mawene scored the second? I struggle to remember seeing Aberdeen play as well as that before... ever! It could have been 10 and that's no exaggeration. Play like that every week and I swear we'd win the league. Quote
Andrew Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Great game! I feel sorry for Paul Gallacher though, he played well. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Great game! I feel sorry for Paul Gallacher though, he played well. Seems that this sums up how well we played, the keeper played well and they got caned 4 scud. Quote
Jute Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Seems that this sums up how well we played, the keeper played well and they got caned 4 scud. Pretty fair comment. Radio last night was saying it could have been double figures if it was not for him. Quote
