Kenny Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/15137351.stm Haven't enjoyed Dons highlights so much for a while! Looks like it was a cracker of a game, relentless pressure in from the left hand side especially. Good range of goals too. Quote
stubo72 Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Have to say they were very easy on the eye! If they could maintain that level we might actually win a few games. I fear they are tough fixtures though... Well done for that result, but can you keep it up?! Well done to those that actually went along as well. They must have arrived fearing the worst and left feeling pretty delighted. Quote
Tyrant Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Onybody ken if there's an iPad compatible version of football highlights from BBC? Quote
Penfold Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Download an app called Skyfire. It's a browser that can play flash video, but not in the most seamless way. Works though. Quote
manc_don Posted October 2, 2011 Report Posted October 2, 2011 Enjoyed those highlights immensely. Looked like we were incredibly unlucky not to score more. Hopefully this is just the beginning and they can build on this performance after the break. Quote
McMaster Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 It really is amazing what one performance like that can do for spirit. The old firm double header looked daunting last week. this week i am demanding 6 points lol! Great performance though. keep it up. Quote
Superstar Tradesman Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 Wonder what triggered the performance? Kari Arnason's comments perhaps? Quote
Tyrant Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 Wonder what triggered the performance? Kari Arnason's comments perhaps? This is what I suspect is the case. And cheers for that, Penfold. I'll give that a try. Quote
mizer Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 Good to see Vernon getting service for once. Not too sure what the Fyvie goal fuss was about though - good stike but a screamer? Quote
alfromsleep Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 We totally gubbed them, could have been 7 or 8 Quote
frewdon Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 Good to see Vernon getting service for once. Not too sure what the Fyvie goal fuss was about though - good stike but a screamer? Can't remember how many, but there was a sequence of one touch passes, with Dunfermline chasing shadows, before Vernons header for Fyvie. Had this been a goal scored by either of the OF, then the bbc would have shown the full build up. Quote
Tyrant Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 Can't remember how many, but there was a sequence of one touch passes, with Dunfermline chasing shadows, before Vernons header for Fyvie. Had this been a goal scored by either of the OF, then the bbc would have shown the full build up. It was the build-up that was so good and the finish matched. As I said at the time if Man Utd had scored that goal there would have been a collective hard-on from the Sky Sports pundits and comentators. Quote
BigAl Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 Just seen highlights and probably for the first time this season the word highlight is actually justified. Guess I should just fuck off for a long weekend more often if thats what happens. One swallow doesn't make a summer, but credit where credit is due, certainly looked like we turned them over big time. Quote
