It was confirmed this morning that Dons midfielder Jordon Brown faces a lengthy period out of the game after the youngster was injured playing for Forfar on Saturday.

Jordon suffered a serious knee injury in the 3-1 defeat to Cowdenbeath and scans yesterday revealed that he has sustained damage to his cruciate ligament following a tackle from behind after just two minutes..

Jordon, along with Nicky Low and Joe Shaughnessy, have all impressed while on loan at the 2nd Division side.

Everyone at Pittodrie wishes Jordon a speedy and full recovery.

Nightmare for someone getting that injury so early in their career.

ruptured my ACL this year and it's a horrible thing to happen. both in terms of pain when it happens, and then how frustrating it is to not be able to kick a ball for so long afterwards.

hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.
