tsr Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 On Sunday 18th December 2011, a group of Aberdeen supporters targetted various parts of the city, associated to the history of Aberdeen, to highlight their disgust at the way in which the club has been run by chairman Stewart Milne. rocket_scientist Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 Absolutely Fucking Class. The people behind this deserve recognition for this phenomenal initiative. I suggest free ST's for the brains and the brawn behind this. For life. Quote
redordead Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 Amazing what goes on when the golf's aff. Quote
Madbadteacher Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Expresses how I, and no doubt many others, feel in a high profile and erudite manner. Well done whoever you are!        Quote
dave_min Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Excellent start. Does anybody out there have a list of proposed Stewart Milne developments and the relevent authorities to complain about them being built? Quote
manc_don Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Good little stunt, well done to those involved! Quote
Tyrant Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 It's a shame that it's come to this but come to this it has. Well done, lads. Was about to ask the same thing as Dave min. Quote
BigAl Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Almost moved to tears reading that A very sad reflection of just how things have really declined Hat off to all those involved Quote
Kowalski Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Good effort from all involved! Quote
glasgow sheep Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Excellent start. Not quite what you asked but I presume you are aware of this: http://aberdeenvoice.com/2011/12/foi-prevails-the-quest-for-milne-property-deals/ Quote
Mentorred Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 I may be wrong but no trophies won? Did Stewart Milne not hire Roy Aiken? Not defending him just saying. Quote
manc_don Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 I may be wrong but no trophies won? Did Stewart Milne not hire Roy Aiken? Not defending him just saying. I thought Milne was on the board then but not Chairman? I could be wrong though Quote
rocket_scientist Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Aitken was on the stage at the infamous Capitol AGM. The one where Ian Donald told us about Klinsman. The one where Milne was introduced in public for the first time as a board member. The one where Milne said that "the product" would always be the priority. History has passed. Scholars may debate the motives engaged by Milne when he said that and the sincerity of those words at the time, given subsequent stewratship. Quote
Kowalski Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Saw the one near the Music Hall tonight, just next to the Aberdeen Journals shop. Great effort! Has this been picked up by the press? Quote

Just shows that the cunt isn't completely inept when he can be fucking arsed. Quote

barrowred Posted December 21, 2011 Report Posted December 21, 2011 Did the coffins get ANY publicity at all? Anyone see any of the tabloids today? I believe that individual journalists at all national and local papers, radio and independent telly were also informed over the last few days. Personally, I am more disappointed with the lack of reaction in the AGM Quote
rocket_scientist Posted December 21, 2011 Report Posted December 21, 2011 Personally, I am more disappointed with the lack of reaction in the AGM Likewise but not surprised. Apathy is strong. Milne is winning. The last time I bothered to attend an AGM was 2008 and I wanted an answer to a good question. We got a revealing response and we got a result, in writing from the chairman later that week. Not once since then have we seen any criticism of the fans. Never in the last three years have we heard or read anyone at AFC come out with the shite that they used to. People on the internet however who were supposedly Aberdeen fans lied about the content of my question, the reaction to it and my conduct so my own position now is why should I bother my arse? Everyone who was there in 2008 knows the truth. Too many cunts on AFC webchatspeaksites are more concerned with online persona's and online grudge matches, sad fucks. Quote

I was there and thought you were entertaining but out of order in the tone you took with your mate Mr Miller. Just my tuppence-worth. Quote

Personally, I am more disappointed with the lack of reaction in the AGM A one-off stunt isn't newsworthy unfortunately without a reaction from the club. The way that sort of thing would get published is through buying space in the paper to put an 'open letter to AFC' type thing. Quote
