BigAl
Fecking hell guys....AFC proactive shocker Don't think too many other clubs have had any activity yet, other than HIVs signing the boy Doyle. Don't want to get too carried away just yet, just in case this is our transfer activity finished during this window. Welcome on board Mark

The deal was done in November right enough.

glasgow sheep
From my brother-in-law who is a Wednesday fan, although admittedly lives north of Glasgow now so doesn't see much of his team these days: 3rd, possibly even 4th choice left back at Hillsborough. I have seen him play for the Owls three times, twice he was shocking, looked nervous and no attacking threat as a full back - just passed the ball backwards or sideways. The other time he was ok but nothing special and not league 1 quality it seems. Hope he does much better for the Dons.

manc_don
how'd he play yesterday? I assume he was centre half rather than left back?
TENEMENTFUNSTER
Good. Hard to tell really though.
dunblanedon
I think we'll find out more about him in the next couple of games. On the basis the conditions were somewhat akin to 'Winnie the Pooh and a Blustery Day', it was just too hard to tell.
manc_don
To be expected I guess given the conditions and opposition. I've also read elsewhere McCardle played well? He's always looked better at CB than RB imo.

manc_don
See Reynolds is in the press this morning saying he will be returning to Sheffield at the end of the season. Not anything we didn't expect sadly. Unless the board stump up the cash there was no way he'd be wearing red next season.
BigAl
Not anything we didn't expect sadly. Unless the board stump up the cash there was no way he'd be wearing red next season. Not even that convinced if we matched his wages at Sheffield that he would stay, as sense he feels he is still young and got unfinished business down south. Having said that, its alll pretty irrelevant as no fucking way we'd match the cash on offer.
maverick sheep
not been overly impressed with him. definitely could get a player of same ability for less wage
Kowalski
Doesn't sound like he wants to stay... Aberdeen FC’s Reynolds on his way in summer On-loan defender will return to Sheffield Wednesday Published: 30/03/2012 ABERDEEN FC defender Mark Reynolds has confirmed he will be returning to Sheffield Wednesday in the summer. Reynolds has been a star performer in the Aberdeen FC back four since arriving on loan from the Owls in January. Aberdeen FC would love to keep him but a change of manager at Hillsborough has raised Reynolds’ hopes of getting a regular game for the League One side next season. tlg1903
We have enough centre backs especially with Anderson coming back. We could do with getting a right back with Reynolds wages
Tyrant
If Anderson stays fit (big if) then it's no problem whatsoever.

glasgow sheep
fae the pre-match press conference: "The stories about us talking to Sheffield Wednesday about signing Mark Reynolds are not true. Of course we want Mark to stay permanently but he is here until the end of the season on loan. We will look at it in the New Year."
