topcorner Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 "It has been a long time since we won there and we would be delighted to even come away with a draw. "I think that's what we're aiming for but who is to say we can't go down there and win." Inspiring stuff Quote
Kowalski Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 Strange decision. Considine has enough on his plate trying to work on his own game without taking on the responsibilities of the captaincy as well. Should have been Arnie or Milsom for me. Unless of course Arnie is definitely offski. Quote

quirie Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 Consi was vice captain anyway so im not shocked. As much as I'd liked to of see Arnie get the armband im equally happy at Considine getting it. I think he'll work harder at his game to set an example to everyone Quote
capitalsharpie Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 I think this is a case of Broon not rocking the ship too hard. An easy choice at this stage of the season to make. Quote
Kowalski Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 Considine happy to give Anderson armband Andy has no problem giving up captaincy By Sean Wallace Published: 18/01/2012 ANDY Considine today insisted he had no problem giving up the Aberdeen FC captaincy to returning hero Russell Anderson. Considine was named skipper at the weekend and led the team in the 0-0 SPL draw with Kilmarnock. Just days later, he had to relinquish the captain’s armband to Anderson, who signed an 18-month deal with Aberdeen FC. Quote
mizer Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 Well he wasnt going to come out and say that Anderson was a cunt and should fuck off. Quote
Andrew Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 I'm delighted he's back. I'm pretty sure he is the best Aberdeen player I've seen with markus heikkinen coming second. Quote

Andrew Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 Either a poor memroy or very young! Started going to games around about the start of 2000 so can't think of any other suggestions. He's a legend in my eyes. Quote
McMaster Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 I wouldna worry about it. Illian Kiriakov is one o the players i loved at Aberdeen and I continually get ribbed about it. Maybe not a legend tae the Aberdeen faithful but the hairy Bulgarian is a legend to me! Quote
