BigAl Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 Ok its from the Evening Depress and no quotes (unless there are in printed article), but would love this to be true. Of course the reporter could just have been reading Tyrant's posts on here CRAIG Brown today revealed Farid El Alagui of Falkirk and Borussia Monchengladbach’s Mathew Leckie are on Aberdeen FC’s radar. Both strikers are possible targets for a summer swoop as Brown looks to bolster Aberdeen FC’s attack. Moroccan El Alagui, 26, is Falkirk’s top scorer this season with 21 goals and Australian Under-20 cap Leckie scored twice in Monchengladbach’s 5-2 friendly win against Aberdeen last summer. Quote

BigAl Posted January 17, 2012 Author Report Posted January 17, 2012 More strikers - yay Take the positive that it should merely confirm the departure of Lion Cub and The Goalie. Also unless I'm mistaken, is Chalali not out of contract in the summer as well Quote

Tyrant Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 If Broon has "confirmed" it there must be a quote in the article surely? Quote
topcorner Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 Didn't Crawley Town just have an offer for El Alagui turned down? Can't see us paying any more than a quid for a player. Quote
Tyrant Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 Didn't Crawley Town just have an offer for El Alagui turned down? Can't see us paying any more than a quid for a player. Aye but they wanted him to move now rather then on a PCA. Obviously we'd wait to get him for fuck all. Quote
mizer Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 FAO Jute The Dons want Falkirk striker Farid El Alaqui and Borussia Munchengladbach’s Australian striker Matthew Leckie to sign pre-contract deals. Pre-contract Pre-contract Quote

Tyrant Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 Not now that Palace are apparently after El Alagui. Quote
glasgowdon Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 Worth trying to use some Grimmer compo on these guys? Quote
BigAl Posted January 18, 2012 Author Report Posted January 18, 2012 Worth trying to use some Grimmer compo on these guys? Wouldn't object if we did,but I sense anything we got from Grimmer will be viewed as an unexpected bonus and go straight to debt reduction Quote
glasgowdon Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 Wouldn't object if we did,but I sense anything we got from Grimmer will be viewed as an unexpected bonus and go straight to debt reduction See, I looked at it as a bonus therefore we may look to spend it. Doubt it though. Quote
