TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Let's face it, we aren't getting anyone who costs very much so if he does ok on trial why not? Seems it is purely as cover so fair enough for me. Quote
topcorner Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 A like for like replacement for Milsom to cover us til the end of the season. Makes sense. Quote
tlg1903 Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Aye i agree TF, lets see how he does if he gets a contract. He is certainly a player that can pick a pass. Quote
McMaster Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Hasn't he turned us doon in the past? Quote
stubo72 Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Was always a decent player, from what I can remember. Could do well, if fully fit (don't know his recent history and can't be arsed googling him). Quote
Penfold Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Hasn't he turned us doon in the past? Only 3 or 4 times. Quote
RDU_64 Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Turned us doon in the past but could be a good short term replacement for Milsom. Quote
Kowalski Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 A like for like replacement for Milsom to cover us til the end of the season. Makes sense. This. We need a left sided midfielder and he's not that bad. Quote

BigAl Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Daniel Uchechi joins Aberdeen on trial Uchechi has played for Nigeria Under-20 level Former Nigeria Under-20 striker Daniel Uchechi has joined Aberdeen on trial. The 22-year-old began his career with Charlton Athletic and was also on the books of West Ham but was most recently on loan to Sheffield Wednesday. He left Upton Park for Dender in his homeland but was farmed out to Leicester City then the Owls. Aberdeen said in a website statement: "Craig Brown this afternoon confirmed Daniel is at Pittodrie and will train with the club for a couple of days." Uchechi was originally meant to go on trial with the Scottish Premier League club during the summer but instead turned out in pre-season for Peterborough United before joining Wednesday after a successful trial. He signed for the League One club until January, but the loan spell was cut short in November after he made only one appearance under Gary Megson. That was Uchechi's only senior appearance in English football, having played for Charlton's youth and reserve teams before joining West Ham in 2009. He was released by the then Premier League club a year later and returned to Nigeria National League outfit Dender. Uchechi had also failed to break into the first-team at Leicester during his loan spell with the Championship outfit last season. Aberdeen boss Brown already has former Rangers, Leicester, Motherwell and Norwich City midfielder Stephen Hughes on trial. Quote
