glasgow sheep Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 oh dear Aberdeen FC’s Fallon racks up miles to play for New Zealand But Rory vows to be back to face Celtic By Sean Wallace Published: 09/02/2012 GLOBETROTTING striker Rory Fallon today revealed he is ready to travel more than 20,000 miles – and still not miss an Aberdeen FC game. Fallon has been called up to the New Zealand squad to face Jamaica in a friendly in Auckland on Wednesday, February 29. However, there will not be much time for rest as the Aberdeen FC striker will race back to Pittodrie in time to face Celtic on Saturday, March 3. Quote
Tyrant Posted February 10, 2012 Report Posted February 10, 2012 I'm sure Celtic are shitting themselves. Quote
Kowalski Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 He's not in the final squad so he's going nowhere. Quote

mizer Posted March 6, 2012 Author Report Posted March 6, 2012 ABERDEEN FC boss Craig Brown today heaped praise on the unsung heroes of their 12-match unbeaten run. If you were to ask Aberdeen FC fans to pick out their top men in a remarkable run of results since the turn of the year it’s doubtful if Rory McArdle and Rory Fallon would feature prominently. But manager Brown was happy to hail Northern Ireland defender McArdle and New Zealand striker Fallon for the parts played over the last few weeks. No Craig he has been shit Quote
BigAl Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 Why no new contract offer for McArdle then Thought the guy was supposedly desperate to stay ? Quote
manc_don Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 Why no new contract offer for McArdle then Thought the guy was supposedly desperate to stay ? He should be offered a contract, certainly deserves one. It's quite ridiculous that they haven't offered him one yet* tbh! *assuming they haven't done this... Quote

Kowalski Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Certainly can't be taken out of the team after today's performance. The key will be whether he can keep it going. Quote
fatjim Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Certainly can't be taken out of the team after today's performance. The key will be whether he can keep it going. He played really well. Either he took on board what we were all saying as we are the vocal majority or he had some divine intervention. Divine intervention won us the cup in 1990 so I hope it was the latter. Quote
BigAl Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 For the avoidance of doubt to anyone that wasn't there today. Even if Fallon hadn't scored both goals today, he was a worthy contender for MOTM (along with Brown). Thought he led the line superbly. I've been amongst his biggest critics but not today. Well done Rory, but as Kow says, lets keep it going Quote
KGB Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Watched him come on against St Mirren and he was shocking so todays performance was not expected. Two great goals and a fab performance, well done son Quote
