manc_don Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Youngsters to the rescue for Aberdeen FC Teenagers Fraser and Masson may get chance at Easter Road By Sean Wallace Published: 11/02/2012 Bookmark with: RISING STAR: Aberdeen FC's Jamie Masson. CRAIG Brown was set to turn to teenage starlets Ryan Fraser and Jamie Masson for Aberdeen FC’s SPL clash at Hibs today. Aberdeen FC boss Brown’s squad has been decimated by injury, with 11 players set to be sidelined. With his squad ripped apart by call-offs, Brown is ready to raid the Under-19s top stars for pacey winger Fraser, 17, and 18-year-old creative midfielder Masson. Fraser impressed me last time he played. Quote
manc_don Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Doesn't sound like much football is being played at the mo. Quote

manc_don Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Sounded like we were hanging on towards the end despite having the majority of play. Did Jute actually manage to last 90 mins? Quote

Jute Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 Sounded like we were hanging on towards the end despite having the majority of play. Did Jute actually manage to last 90 mins? I did. On a positive note it was better than the last game there but only just. Never looked like losing a goal but never looked like scoring either. Plenty of the ball but nobody capable of creating. No width in the play either. Not good to watch at all. Quote
mizer Posted February 12, 2012 Author Report Posted February 12, 2012 I want whatever the person who wrote this was on Despite the scoreline it was a very entertaining game I have seen entertaining 0-0 draws but this was not one! Quote

Tyrant Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 Sounded fairly exciting on the radio. Quote
glasgow sheep Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 Much better than the last 2 games vs Hibs but that wasn't much of comparison. Same old problem of lack of creativity and playing Vernon up front by himself was a waste of time and predictably negative. Said after the first few games this season most matches would finish 1-0, 0-0 or 0-1 and that has never been more certain than the last month or two. Hopefully being hard to beat means we have a bit of a chance in the cup but on current form we will draw too many games to get into the top6. With most of our team here next year we have the basis of a good side, we just need to hope Brown brings in some attacking flair to complement the solidity we have in the team. Also is Hughes unfit or just poor at the moment? Quote
