tlg1903 Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Fallon will get all the headlines for his double, Considine was an absolute rock. Arnie was motm for me, guy was EVERYWHERE on the pitch Quote
rocket_scientist Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Good shout re Arni. He's just so obviously our best and most valuable player, by absolute miles, I thought I'd spread it around a bit. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Agree with everything posted so far. Haven't seen Brown make a dick of it for their goal but he did play very well. Consi is growing every week, Reynolds was good, Robertson was good, Vernon was outstanding as left back, left wing and striker. Arnason was a colossus. Just a thought, I thought FF was no bad today but fuck me we missed him. Quote
jmo Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Nervy ending, but an exciting game. Motherwell fans are wankers. That is all. Quote
Tyrant Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 Nervy ending, but an exciting game. Motherwell fans are wankers. That is all. I thought the same when they booed Fyvie as he got stretchered off. Like he dived or something. I hope they're fucking ashamed after seeing it again. Quote
maverick sheep Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 all the sweeter for that greeting faced hun cunt mccoll's bitching to the press. does he not realise they were actually better after he got sent to the stands? nob. Quote
CtS Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17335139 I'm a bit pissed off about this. Look at the agony on Fyvie's face, "naughty" ffs sake. Quote
maverick sheep Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 sounds like it's not broken though which is a relief. thought he was good and forward thinking yesterday. Quote
glasgowdon Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 I thought the same when they booed Fyvie as he got stretchered off. Like he dived or something. I hope they're fucking ashamed after seeing it again. Clapped of Lasley, booed Fyvie. All very audible on TV. SCUM. I bet they were giving Brown stick too as per the last time I was there and sitting amongst them (freebie). Disgrace. Not sure what Reynolds did wrong other than play for them once. Quote
fatjim Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 It looked like potentially ankle ligament damage. Quote
glasgow sheep Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 What a day, great to see such a superb support, vocal from first to last. Even better to see that support rewarded with a great performance and a win. Cracking game too with more excitement and drama than half a dozen games. Hopefully Jack and Fyvie aren't out for too long, although maybe will give Pawlett a chance for a few games. Still buzzing now, and delighted I decided to take today off Quote
Tyrant Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 Surely Jack will be ok for their revenge mission on Saturday? Quote
RDU_64 Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 Great result. Fallon took his goals well and I thought for 70 minutes, we were well on top and deserved to be 2 up. Lost our way in the last 20 with Fyvie being a big miss in the centre of the park. Disgraceful 'tackle' and one which could put Fyvie oot for a while, fingers crossed its not that serious though. Megginson should have finished the game as a contest after a good dummy by Arnie in the second half. Brown did well for the penalty and had a good save in the last minute but was badly at fault for their goal. Thankfully it didn't cost us though and otherwise, he had a very good game. Have to say, I am very impressed with Brown. Considine is really becoming a big player in our team and him and Reynolds seem to suit each other, both had excellent games yesterday. Arnason and Fyvie played really well as Fallon. Quote
tlg1903 Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 I know Cb doesn't like to court controversy and normally I don't have an issue with him doing so. That said anyone else find his attitude towards lasleys challenge really cringey both after the game and on sportscene? Quote

No happy Broon has effectively excused the cunt for what was a cunt of a challenge. Quote
Penfold Posted March 12, 2012 Author Report Posted March 12, 2012 Mark Reynolds was on twitter with pretty much the same comments as Broon. "Not that kind of player" Well he clearly fucking is! Quote
tlg1903 Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 I honestly don't understand how anyone could watch that again and not think "he easily could have pulled out of that challenge if he wanted to" Any word of FF yet? Quote
Penfold Posted March 12, 2012 Author Report Posted March 12, 2012 Fyvie on twitter saying he has a scan this week - doesn't know how bad it is yet. Also made his feelings about the tackle clear which he has since deleted, probably sensibly. Quote

RDU_64 Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 Keith Lasley on Twitter - First of all apologies to Fraser for the tackle although I can assure everyone there was no malice in it and was genuine attempt for ball Quote

mizer Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 Keith Lasley on Twitter - Ball was in a different postcode and if Fyvie is trying to get out the way but Lasley didnt try to pull out. Quote
fatjim Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 To be fair the little touch that fyvie got on the ball put it there. Lasley was late and he slid in where the ball was moments before. I don't think there was any malice. Quote
