mizer Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/Article.aspx/2654441?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter By Sean Wallace Published: 23/02/2012 JASON Brown today revealed he is willing to sign a new deal with Aberdeen FC now – as he wants to help split the Old Firm. The keeper has been so impressed by Craig Brown’s squad rebuilding he wants to commit to Aberdeen FC – 18 months before his current deal runs out. The Welsh international warned that the team aim to ‘put a few noses out of joint’ next season and shake up the SPL by splitting the Old Firm. Good news Quote
BigAl Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 Certainly has made the number one shirt his own in the past couple of months, but agree talk of splitting the old firm a bit premature, unless of course he knows that Der hun are being dropped into the 3rd division in which case I agree we can do it Quote
Tyrant Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 Excuse me whilst I try not to wet myself. Quote
Madbadteacher Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 Split the of? Yes please, with a fucking great axe! Quote

tlg1903 Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 Pretty easy to split the old firm when the huns are in div 3 Quote
Mentorred Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 Get him signed and play him upfront with Arnie. Quote
Superstar Tradesman Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 Nice to hear that the players are planning big things next season but how's about they get off their arses and put a few noses out of joint this season? Quote

manc_don Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Definitely need him to get another deal. Fantastic today, minus his cock up for their goal but im sure he'd be the first to hold his hands up. Two incredibly important saves from the penalty and the shot at the end. Also thought he commanded his box really well. Quote
BigAl Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Superb today and inspired confidence in my opinion. Could have done better with their goal BUT more than made up for it for the rest of he game Quote
KGB Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Superb today and inspired confidence in my opinion. Could have done better with their goal BUT more than made up for it for the rest of he game Agreed he looked a quality keeper today, we should keep him if we can. Quote

rocket_scientist Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 Junkie was the only bit that I failed to appreciate. Not sure if there are that many heroin addicts in professional football? But I larfed. The delivery fae the boy was class, content and timing. Quote

Also thought he commanded his box really well. If he'd literally done that against St. Mirren at Pittodrie a few months back he wouldn't have made that free kick look so good. He's been getting more assured but I wouldn't go and spunk all over him just yet. His fuck up yesterday is easy to forgive because of his penalty save but it was quite a bad fuck up. Quote

Totally, but he is definitely an integral part of a team that appears to be brimming with confidence and good moral. Langfield has nothing on him. He has improved week in week out from his early fragility, which I can only applaud him for. Obviously he's not the best keeper we've ever had but I hope he continues to grow in confidence. Quote
Penfold Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 One thing I have noticed about Brown is that he never shuts up. He is always shouting to his defence with instructions & motivation and I'm sure that has played a big part in the improvement in our defensive form since he came into the side. Quote
glasgow sheep Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 Loved him out flanking the stewards at the end to hurl is shirt in the crowd, he seemed almost as pumped as we all were Quote
