ABERDEEN FC are delighted young Irish midfielder Alan O’Sullivan has finally been cleared to get his Pittodrie career under way.

The Republic of Ireland youth international signed full-time for Aberdeen FC in July.

But problems gaining international clearance meant 17-year-old Alan was unable to play in any competitive games until this month. The unlucky youngster had also broken his left wrist in a fall while training.

Anyone know anything about him? 17 must mean there's a possibility of a run out later this season or next

First team are away to Killie the day before.

Will stay over in Glasgow for this.

Wonder where they will hold it.  Do they not tend to try and get Youth Cup games in proper stadium? Be quite keen to pop along and see the u20s as excellent reports thus far.

Young loons have apparently won 6-1 at Balgownie v Hearts today

Hat-tricks from Smith and McManus

Balgownie is a great spot for football.

If you sit through the back of the Toby, you can see the whole pitch from the comfort of the pub  8)
