Madbadteacher Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 Yeah Scott and Robb these days would still be better than Vernon and Fallon Quote
Reekie_Red Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 Fallon is capable of scoring match-winners out of nothing. But he's not a striker who should be playing week-in week-out ... simply doesn't have it in him to score regularly. I'd be keen on Faddy playing, even for a season. He's completely different to Vernon, and he's a bigger and much more physical player than what I've seen on McGinn Quote
Madbadteacher Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 To think we've had, in the past, Harper, Jarvie, Scott, Robb, Pirie, Gilhaus, Frunkie, Duncan, Winchester, CharlieNick, Booth, Black, Hewitt, McGhee, Fuck, just looking at some stats and, since 1960 our most2 prolific forward is? (allowing at least 100 games) Outwith 100 it's obviously Frunkie, at 0.64 per game. Oh what we'd give for a "lazy fat bastard that just poached" these days Quote
maverick sheep Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 I'm not convinced by fallon at all, but I do think he deserves a run ahead of vernon at the moment. Maybe give vernon today and if he's still a passenger then bench him for a bit. i wish i could even imagine mcfadden being a possibility. Quote
Reekie_Red Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 You forgot Shearer and Stavrum. Most consistent strikers we've had in the past two decades. Two decades? FFS, wthe last prolific striker we had was twelve years ago! Quote
