Fallon is capable of scoring match-winners out of nothing. But he's not a striker who should be playing week-in week-out ... simply doesn't have it in him to score regularly.

I'd be keen on Faddy playing, even for a season. He's completely different to Vernon, and he's a bigger and much more physical player than what I've seen on McGinn

To think we've had, in the past, Harper, Jarvie, Scott, Robb, Pirie, Gilhaus, Frunkie, Duncan, Winchester, CharlieNick, Booth, Black, Hewitt, McGhee,

Fuck, just looking at some stats and, since 1960 our most2 prolific forward is? (allowing at least 100 games)

Outwith 100 it's obviously Frunkie, at 0.64 per game.

Oh what we'd give for a "lazy fat bastard that just poached" these days

You forgot Shearer and Stavrum. Most consistent strikers we've had in the past two decades. Two decades? FFS, wthe last prolific striker we had was twelve years ago!

Arild Stavrum

29goals in 67 games (0.43 goals per game)

Duncan Shearer

79goals in 193 games (0.41 goals per game)

Let us not forget Billy Dodds

67 goals in 172 games (0.38 goals per game)

and

Dean Windass

31 goals in 92 games (0.34 goals per game)

Compared to our old friend Darren Mackie

69 goals in 364games (0.19goals per game)
