mizer Posted February 15, 2013 Report Posted February 15, 2013 ‘No deals until Aberdeen FC make top six’ By Charlie Allan ABERDEEN FC have put all contract talks on hold until they’ve secured a place in the SPL’s top six. Pittodrie vice-chairman George Yule confirmed there will be no more negotiations with Aberdeen FC manager Craig Brown or the players whose deals are due to run out until they know which half of the league they will end up in. Yule said: “Any discussions about the management or players is out of timing right now.” Quote
maverick sheep Posted February 15, 2013 Report Posted February 15, 2013 fuck's the point in that? get ozzie signed up and quit speaking shite in the press! Quote
Jute Posted February 15, 2013 Report Posted February 15, 2013 This not the same bloke who was talking about challenging for league 4 months ago. Now it's making top 6. Did not take long for his expectations to be lowered. Quote
manc_don Posted February 15, 2013 Report Posted February 15, 2013 Are you surprised given the state of the board over the years. But I agree with mav, there are certain players that are worthy of being signed up. Top 6 is not something we should even be remotely considering as acceptable this season. Fourth as a minimum or heads should roll. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted February 15, 2013 Report Posted February 15, 2013 Who gives a fucking fuck about top 6? Lumping fuck. Quote
Madbadteacher Posted February 15, 2013 Report Posted February 15, 2013 Nobody would have until this farcicall split entered the season. Fucking allows teams, us especially, to aim low and claim it as "success" Quote
