Edinburghdon Posted May 3, 2013 Report Posted May 3, 2013 http://www.afc.co.uk/articles/20130503/ex-arsenal-striker-_2212158_3166367 Dons boss Derek McInnes has invited ex Arsenal youngster Rhys Murphy to train with Aberdeen. The striker, who currently plays for Dutch side Telstar, will spend a couple of days with the club to allow the manager and Tony Docherty to have a closer look at him. He is just one of a number of players the manager will assess in the weeks before the season comes to a close. The 22 year old has in the past had spells at Preston North End and Brentford on loan. He represented England at U16, U17 and U19 level before switching his international allegiance to the Republic of Ireland in 2011 and went on the represent them at U21 level. Quote
