manc_don
Heres hoping all the doom, gloom and suggestions that Vernon was a spent force will prove to be premature. This bit did my head in. We all knew what crespo was / is capable of but it was all down to Browns negativity that let him down last year. It was always obvious he was a confidence player and that was so evident against Hearts. Chuffed for him and the team, let's hope it's the start of something special! Edinburghdon
Dont suggest that, Edinburgh don will get really really upset! I was wondering why your graph above showed 3 strikers and a "midfielder"
tom_widdows
Slightly related About this point last season Played - 15 Won - 6 Drawn - 6 Lost - 3 Goals for - 20 Goals against - 14 Points 24 (2nd place) --------------------------------- This season Played - 15Won - 8Drawn - 2Lost - 5Goals for - 22Goals against - 14Points 26 (4th Place) ------------------------ I'm sure I recall being generally pissed off with our performance this time last year but we are only 2 points better off now and I feel relatively pleased. Tom, would personally put that down to the difference in the quality of play on the park.
tlg1903
Didn't think there was much more potential in the side last year, this year I think we can still get much better
