Aberdeen FC urge Red Army not to bring smoke bombs to Partick Thistle game  Warning ahead of Scottish Premiership clash at Firhill  By Ben Holme

THE Red Army were today urged not to let Aberdeen FC down at Partick Thistle on Saturday.

Smoke bombs were seen being let off in the away end during the Dons’ 2-1 loss to Hearts at Tynecastle and 3-1 win against Motherwell at Fir Park last month.

Aberdeen FC facilities manager, Paul Hendry, has pleaded with the Red Army for no further disruption at Firhill this weekend.

He said: “First of all it is an offence to be in possession of these items while entering the ground and you can be arrested for it.

“Police Scotland will prosecute anyone who is caught on cctv or identified by witnesses as letting off a flare.”

Celtic have already been banned from the main stand at firhill due to smoke bombs.

Smoke bombs are feckin shit anyway and all they do is gas everyone else around them.  I'd be more than happy if nobody brings them into the ground on Sat but if they do they deserve whatever punishment they get, it's not like they haven't had ample warning
