mizer Posted March 31, 2014 Share Posted March 31, 2014 SPECIAL trains will be put on for Dons fans travelling to Glasgow for the Scottish Cup semi-final next month. Aberdeen FC take on St Johnstone in the showdown at Ibrox on April 13. And with the game kicking off at an early time of 12.45pm, ScotRail have announced they will provide two additional services for fans to get to the game. The first train leaves Aberdeen at 8.35am and will arrive at Glasgow Queen Street at 11.10am. The return journey will leave Glasgow at 4.45pm and arrive back in Aberdeen at 7.14pm. A second train will be arranged if there are sufficient numbers and will depart Aberdeen at 8.58am, arriving in Glasgow Queen Street at 11.34am. The return journey to Aberdeen departs at 5.12pm, arriving at 7.44pm. A £50 adult return ticket will apply and is valid only on these special services. And a family return ticket of one adult and one child is £65. Tickets are available only from ScotRail staff at the ScotRail Travel Centre at Aberdeen Station. Tickets for children are £15 and each child must be accompanied by an adult. ScotRail staff will be selling tickets from 9am tomorrow and then each day until they are sold out.
