CtS Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 There were a few eyebrows raised when Harcus selected Heston, nobody was sure if he could cut it at this level but he's proved all the doubters wrong. The boy done good. Quote
Harcus Posted April 13, 2008 Report Posted April 13, 2008 Yep, Heston stepped up to the plate, and done the business. What a boy. Do I now continue on with three players for the rest of the season? FJ, update the points on the first page Quote
Guest Nellie The Don Posted April 16, 2008 Report Posted April 16, 2008 When do the final scores get called on this? 1st Jan 2009? Quote
Harcus Posted April 16, 2008 Report Posted April 16, 2008 I'm sure we will all be waiting with baited breath on that day. Quote

Ajja Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 Seems I have missed out on a point here: http://www.deadoraliveinfo.com/dead.nsf/wnames-nf/Whitney+Phyllis+A Died on my birthday too Rack 'em up FJ Quote
Harcus Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 Got to say, Ajja's scouting system has been proven as first class. I took the Jimmy Calderwood approach of signing whatever 'big names' were available at the time, and while it paid off with Heston, I just can't compete with Ajja's level of extremely old celebrities knowledge. Well done that man. Quote
Guest swaddon Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 Aye, well done to Ajja. I've got a couple of names in mind for when the window opens that I obviously won't be revealing here. I'm still sure I'm on to a cert with Norman Wisdom, though. Knowing my luck, he'll pass away on New Years Day next year. Quote

TheChimp Posted June 2, 2008 Report Posted June 2, 2008 Post whore. Anyway, does anyone read the 'Have Your Say' section of the BBC site anytime anyone snuffs it? I usually chuckle at the most popular messages being 'I don't fucking care!' and various other musings along that ilk. Quote
Guest swaddon Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 Bo Diddley has purchased the farm today, I don't think anyone had him. Quote
