BigAl Posted January 12, 2017 Report Posted January 12, 2017 Graham Taylor - 72 Never really minded him to be honest. What he achieved with Watford rightly earned him kudos Quote
Elgindon Posted January 12, 2017 Report Posted January 12, 2017 Heart attack apparently.A decent enough chap,by England manager standards. Quote
manc_don Posted January 12, 2017 Report Posted January 12, 2017 Sad news, always came across well on TV and in interviews. What he and Elton John achieved at Watford was remarkable. Quote

manc_don Posted January 13, 2017 Report Posted January 13, 2017 Some really nice stories coming out about him. Apparently was best man for a Watford fan despite having only met him once! Seems like the world of football has lost a genuine good guy. Quote
tom_widdows Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 James Wiley Smith AKA 'Superfly' Jimmy Snuka 73 and was part of an ongoing lawsuit against the WWE concerning the lack of protection and care for current and ex Wrestlers. Quote
donsdaft Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 I don't understand the Graham Taylor stuff. Fair enough if you're a Watford fan but as far as I can remember he was an ignorant arsehole. Quote
rocket_scientist Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 I don't understand the Graham Taylor stuff. Fair enough if you're a Watford fan but as far as I can remember he was an ignorant arsehole. Agreed. Horrible man... when he was alive. Quote
Ten Caat Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 As guffs go he always seemed to me to be at the more acceptable end of the range. Never forget the documentary shown about 10 years ago where they followed his final couple of years as Guffland manager. The bit where he says "Do I not like that" just seconds before oppo team score is hilarious but the best bit was watching that utter wankstain Phil Neal having to get his tongue surgically removed from Taylor's hoop having said "yes boss" to every single thing that Taylor said. InversneckieDob Posted January 16, 2017 Report Posted January 16, 2017 I don't understand the Graham Taylor stuff. Fair enough if you're a Watford fan but as far as I can remember he was an ignorant arsehole. Never really got that. Always reckoned him good fitba man from what I knew of him. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted January 16, 2017 Report Posted January 16, 2017 After reading Paul McGrath's autobiography I've always had respect for Taylor. Seemed like a really decent human being, and there doesn't seem to be too many of them in the game. Quote
BigAl Posted January 25, 2017 Report Posted January 25, 2017 Mary Tyler Moore. You will probably need to be of a certain vintage to know who she is Quote
