Kowalski Posted March 14, 2018 Report Posted March 14, 2018 First Hawking and then Bowen. Good to see they kept up the tradition of letting the non-darts player go first. Quote

February1971 Posted April 5, 2018 Report Posted April 5, 2018 There's a celebrity deaths thread for this sort of thing. Eric Bristow wasn't a celebrity, he was a proper bloke. Quote
TheDeeDon Posted April 6, 2018 Report Posted April 6, 2018 Eric Bristow wasn't a celebrity, he was a proper bloke. That was a shock when I heard that this morning. Darts was essential TV viewing when I was a kid and Bristow was certainly one of the best, his games against John Lowe were legendary. Quote
RicoS321 Posted April 6, 2018 Report Posted April 6, 2018 Bristow was certainly one of the best Aye, but was he "gets his own thread" good? Quote

TheDeeDon Posted April 10, 2018 Report Posted April 10, 2018 Wasn't sure where to put this incase I started off a certain someone Ex Partick and Hamilton Manager John Lambie popped his clogs today aged 77. Elgindon Posted April 10, 2018 Report Posted April 10, 2018 Ach nae my kind of manager, but a likeable enough chap.Think he was manager at Hamilton when he gave the Souness Huns a couple of embarassing defeats. Chain smoked or inhaled cigars hence the rauch voice?.May be what finished him off. Quote

manc_don Posted April 20, 2018 Report Posted April 20, 2018 Who he ? Never heard of him. Shite “musician”. I don’t even dare call him a DJ because he wasn’t one. Was not a fan of his music or what he represented but what a fucking waste of life. 28 years old...no age at all, had retired from performing and touring two years back to sort his life out. Suicide apparently Quote
