BigAl Posted November 8, 2022 Report Posted November 8, 2022 Dan McCafferty ffs Lead singer of great Scottish band Nazareth Famous for his gravelly voice. Holds great memories of listening to Nazareth as a thirteen year old with my first serious girlfriend and as he sung back in the day, Love Hurts Halcyon days indeed RIP Dan Quote
Madbadteacher Posted November 9, 2022 Report Posted November 9, 2022 I always thought he'd have been a great replacement for Bon Scott, better than the wee geordie guy 1 Quote

On a non celebrity basis I am in bits to learn today ov the death of an ex colleague of mine at a ridiculous age of only 43. I have been to four funerals in the past six weeks. I am struggling to live with this. It is getting out of hand. Quote

Thanks min, you're right we're at an age where deaths of those close to us and those we know is becoming more and more common. Against that I've got a new great nephew, so the circle of life keeps on turning. It's been a shit run to be honest and I was feeling really down about things the other night. 1 Quote
