Ajja Posted October 6, 2008 Report Posted October 6, 2008 The trophy's mine Ajj It's just like watching the Dons I was in control with no real fear of defeat, then I fail to make the right substitution, a dodgy refereeing decision (see Sharon argument!) and a late strike and its all gone tit shaped. Well played though mate You took your goals well. A clean sweep in the CD is an impressive sight regardless of the victor. Quote

Guest swaddon Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 TV's Reg Varney (On The Buses) died today aged 92. No-one had him, as far as I can see. Quote
Guest swaddon Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 Another one slips through the net, Richey James of the Manic Street Preachers has recently been declared dead, having been missing since 1995. But if someone had had him, would they have got the point for it? Quote
Andrew Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 Another one slips through the net, Richey James of the Manic Street Preachers has recently been declared dead, having been missing since 1995. But if someone had had him, would they have got the point for it? Yes, because it's when someone is declared dead. For all anyone knew he might have died yesterday. Quote

Harcus Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 Couple of Christmas deaths. Harold Pinter, playwright http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/7799708.stm Eartha Kitt, singer http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7799852.stm Quote
CtS Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 I know it's Christmas day, and it's bound to be a difficult time for her family, but Eartha Kitt you selfish old hoor - how feckin dare you! I substituted her for Nicholas Parsons in the transfer window. I think that's the celeb-death equivelant of an OG. Quote
boboisared Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 It's an exciting end to the season. get your teams ready for the new season. I think this time we should just get the folk with goals to pick new players for their squad. Plus the transfer window will be open for january. How does everyone feel about this? After all it's just folk dying and that. It's not like it doesn't happen everyday like. Saves all the fucking about for you to be honest. I'm for that. Quote
