Kowalski Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 So unless we say otherwise, all picks are carried forward into 2009 yeah? Quote
bilbobaggins Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 I thought the transfer window opens tomorrow, doesn't it? Quote
Kowalski Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 I thought the transfer window opens tomorrow, doesn't it? Aye, just trying to clarify if we can start picking other people's picks from 2008 or not. Quote
bilbobaggins Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 I need to do something. Willing Liz dawn to die just isn't cutting the mustard Quote
mini59dons Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 Can Lurkers join too? How late can i leave it? Quote
Harcus Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 Can we PM selections today - will they be valid? I intend to defend my impending 2008 title vigorously in 2009. Quote

Guest swaddon Posted January 1, 2009 Report Posted January 1, 2009 Congratulations, keep the trophy safe as it's heading to me this time next year. Quote
Ajja Posted January 1, 2009 Report Posted January 1, 2009 I'm feeling good about my line up for this year, time to convert a runners up spot to the title in 2009. Padre may beat us to it though if he is allowed to cover the bases as wide as this: El Padre John Darwin Jo Guest Christopher Barbara Walters Quote
Guest swaddon Posted January 1, 2009 Report Posted January 1, 2009 If he is, then I might consider picking: John David Mary Ahmed Quote
Ajja Posted January 1, 2009 Report Posted January 1, 2009 If he is, then I might consider picking: John David Mary Ahmed That's a damn fine selection, you might have it wrapped up by February Quote
Harcus Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 Going for the age approach again Ajja? Interesting. I see we both have the prisoner/terminally ill double combo. I would like to think my boy has a slightly better chance of meeting a sad demise inside, given he's a 'nonce'. PS Might pick up Sharon on a Bosman Quote

PS Might pick up Sharon on a Bosman Damn right, those aging 60's killers are a shoe in for death. Susan was given 6 months to live in June last year so I'm hoping for an early score to settle the nerves. I'd avoid Sharon. He is technically dead in hospital but for political reasons they are keeping him alive. I had lined up Seve and Steve Jobs but Jay has either got someone else who got in before me and is waiting to update the list or he is being a lazy bastard. Let the battle commence Quote
octavion Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 So we just pick four random celebs and post them , Fit if some ones got one o your gaddgies? Quote
Mentorred Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 I can't remember if I had a team before Can't find it on here. Quote
Kowalski Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 Tempted to put Harcus in to my picks during the transfer window. Quote

Harcus Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 Tempted to put Harcus in to my picks during the transfer window. I think my celebrity status might be in question. Quote
Guest swaddon Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 I think my celebrity status might be in question. You won a celebrity deaths contest on an Aberdeen FC chat site, that's enough to qualify you as an A-list celeb these days. Quote

Harcus Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 I am probably qualified to go on Celebrity Big Brother now! Due to a duplication on my part, you have a PM Jay. Quote
Ajja Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 No duplicates and you if you post it in the thread it will not be accepted. read the first post. Someone did pm with seve in their team ajja but they didn't quite understand that we weren't starting from scratch again. I am holding off until they pm me back with a proper team. Peterheid loon did the same. PM'd me with a team that had some of my players in it. the cheek. What about Steve Jobs ? Did someone ask for him before me ? I don't see him in the updated list. Quote
