Reidzer 1314 Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 This is great news, I really thought he was superb for us last season. COYR! Quote
Tyrant Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 We only lost twice in games that Logan played in. Quote
scotfree Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 This is great news, I really thought he was superb for us last season. COYR! Welcome to the site mate. Quote
manc_don Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Fantastic news. A couple of things he needs to work on but I definitely hoped he would be with us next season! Quote
Reidzer 1314 Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Welcome to the site mate. Thank you I have been a follower of the Facebook page for quite a while and I have only just realised there was a web page and forum Quote
CtS Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Looks like a proper player to me, all the basic ingredients are there....pace, touch, awareness, I'm delighted to have him back. Quote
Superstar Tradesman Posted May 29, 2014 Report Posted May 29, 2014 Shows what a difference there obviously is watching a player in the flesh and a player on the screen. In my humble (tv-based) opinion, I was hoping we'd get rid. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted May 29, 2014 Author Report Posted May 29, 2014 Logan is a decent player, I thought he was great in the cup final. He has his moments though like the rest and I think opposition managers will probably target his lack of height in this day of having tall full backs (aka centre backs out of position) but he'll deal with that. I'm more pleased we got him than Hector although I'd have taken Hector too. Hector's distribution was amongst the poorest I've seen for quite a while but he knew how to defend. Quote
manc_don Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 Is he offski? Looked very emotional and threw his shirt into the crowd. Kinda have that I'm off vibe about it. Hopefully I'm wrong, but ED said exactly the same. Quote

thestooge Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 Would be sad to see him go. Good player if not his best night in a red shirt. Quote
Edinburghdon Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 Would be sad to see him go. Good player if not his best night in a red shirt. If he leaves now I hope it means we get cash for him, he's off next summer anyway so better to cash in now and adequately replace him Quote
Reidzer 1314 Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 Would be sad to see him go but I would rather it be for some cash now rather than for free at the end of the season. Good player but he has looked a little off so far this season which is understandable considering he has just welcomed a new baby and his family still live down in the Manchester area. Quote

We don't need the cash. I'd rather we had a quality player that we know. Quote
Reidzer 1314 Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 We don't need the cash. I'd rather we had a quality player that we know. True. At the same time though, and I must stress I dont know Logan personally lol, if his performances are a little off because his mind is elsewhere due to personal issues then is it best to let him leave now if there is an offer or the chance of of one or keep him for the season where he may not be able to give 100% every week?? Obviously I am just discussing a possible scenario, I could be completely wrong and he may slot back into the same form that he had last season. Quote
Goldie03 Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 I agree with Tyrant If it is his family situation and that's obviously just speculation then he should be moving them up here Remember when Jackie Mac got to travel up from his family home near me - he was utter gash for the dons - I just wouldn't allow all the travelling - it unsettles the players and they should be focussed at all times on the team I hope he stays and sorts it out as I wasn't overly impressed with his performanace last night Quote
Nellie The Don Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 Stop the psychoanalysis beee-atches, he going nowhere Definitely off-ski then. Quote
TheDeeDon Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 Be a shame to lose him. He offers a lot to the team and always impresses me with his workrate and will to win. If his family are in England then I can understand why he wants to move back, but still a sore one for us. Good reliable players are hard to find. Quote
Jute Posted October 31, 2018 Report Posted October 31, 2018 I see press are clamouring for a ban for Logan following on line comments about the Tribute Act. Given he said nothing sectarian or racist there should be nothing to see here but can guarantee he will probably get a ban. Quote
BigAl Posted October 31, 2018 Report Posted October 31, 2018 Even the Huns I know in the main are not overly upset about this, as it fits their agenda of "nobody likes us and we don't care" Only ones that seem to have taken umbrage are the usual suspects in the press. Expect the incompetents in charge of our game to issue six game ban and then encourage Sumo to write an article slating Logan, AFC and every single Dons supporter resulting in him being nominated for a Booker Literary Prize. DantheDon Posted October 31, 2018 Report Posted October 31, 2018 For those who havent read it. Apparently he said F*%k the Rangers. Quote
rocket_scientist Posted October 31, 2018 Report Posted October 31, 2018 For those who havent read it. Apparently he said F*%k the Rangers. No apparently about it. It was hilarious. If I knew how to post a video on here I would, or actually, I wouldn't. It was a joke with mates, one of whom was a hun, probably the guy sitting in the passenger seat of his car. If the authorities can't recognise banter between mates and consider this to be bringing the game into disrepute then they're not real mannies and they're not Scottish... oh, hud on. I would be questioning the wisdom of the person who put this in the public domain though. Logan is more AFC than most. His is a proper attitude. Love the guy. Quote
