Mackie's ace! Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 I think we should play De Vissher up front with Lee Miller Quote

glasgow sheep Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 Jimmy Calderwood revealed today that four players are definitely out of the vital clash. Mackie, McNamara, de Visscher and Young will all be missing but the gaffer is confident that Jamie Smith will be fit to face the Danes. He has been looking fresh in training and a final decision will be made nearer the time. When Jimmy spoke to RedTV earlier in the week he reflected on this season's European adventure so far and not surprisingly he is looking for more. Quote
mizer Posted December 19, 2007 Author Report Posted December 19, 2007 It was good to pick up today's metro (Central Scotland Edition) on the bus and see the back page dedicated to the dons (rather than some old firm trout) plus a decent sized article on Barry Nicholson. Also saw quite a few people reading the articles, two of whom were wearing Hearts branded clothing - GIRFYU Quote
TheChimp Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 plus a decent sized article on Barry Nicholson. Nicholson to Derby/Preston/Leicester by any chance? Quote

Guest Nellie The Don Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood insists he has no undue concerns about midfielder Jamie Smith's fitness as he prepares to hand the playmaker his comeback in tomorrow's big Uefa Cup game against Copenhagen at Pittodrie. So rushed back for 1 game, groin done again, out for another 6 weeks. Quote
Ajja Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 Cos they havn't worked oot how to empty oot half a wee sprite bottle and fill it with vodka yet?!?!? (...or maybe they're all on antibiotics for their STDs) That has been the problem. Too much doing that with 2litre 'wee' bottles. Its all Chimps fault. Quote

Mackie's ace! Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 Press conference today was Jimmy and Zander. Is it usually the captain who'd do it or just a different player each time? Just wondered if it was relevant that Seve wasn't doing it? Dropped for tomorrow? Quote
