Kowalski
According to the Hat, AFC is a sinking ship! I've heard it all now. There really are some pathetic posts on there today. Think I'll start packing for Munich...
TENEMENTFUNSTER
Let them enjoy the pain. Terminal stupidity.

TheChimp
It really is turning into the AFC verion of jamboskickback. People from other clubs will be looking at that site now and think the Aberdeen support are idiots. It's all good in the hood.
Superstar Tradesman
Dinna be silly, nobody looks at the Hat any more. They all sign up in their droves these days.
glasgow sheep
tbh the news could have been alot worse. Looks like Zander will be staying, Barry will probably stick about till August and JC still might stay. If this is as bad as it gets at afc ever again we'll be laughing. Ajja
If ZD commits can you imagine the response he will get from the fans. Instant hero status. Would be good if he could give us all a lift before Saturday then we can storm into the next round for a glamour tie against East Fife or summink PS Before the smart arses descend, I know they are out
Superstar Tradesman
I have a theory about Saturday which would put the Moon Landing conspiracys to shame. But I'm just putting it down to the fact I'm drying out.

Guest Nellie The Don
They have all in fact signed, and it will be announced pre-match on Saturday in an escalation of Jimmy's 'mind games' with John Hughes.
Ajja
I have a theory about Saturday which would put the Moon Landing conspiracys to shame. But I'm just putting it down to the fact I'm drying out. Does it involve Hibs ?
Superstar Tradesman
Nope. OK, here goes.... JC knew a draw against 10 men Falkirk would be enough to move us into 4th so didn't push for the win. This would ensure that our players wouldn't dread going into the game next weekend and would have something to prove. A draw or loss against Falkirk in the league would have been seen as a minor blimp but a loss in the cup would be a disaster. After a victory this weekend, JC could then add that to his bargaining powers for his new contract or turn heads down south. Anyone fancy a pint? Ajja
I'm fancying one of our steamrolling cup performances a la Copenhagen or ICT. Four goals for the Aberdeen

Kowalski
What's clear is that the same people who want JC out, just need any excuse to moan about something else that isn't his fault (unless he takes the blame for getting us to the last 32 of the UEFA cup): http://www.afc-chat.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=11864&pid=206605&st=0 Fair enough the game kicks off at 6pm which is not ideal, but its not going to stop it being a sell out, or as near-as. I'm delighted by this news. More chance of me getting a ticket because there'll be poor folks stuck at work/Haudigan roundabout.

TENEMENTFUNSTER
I couldn't resist looking. It's like a car crash in there! Stoney - Hertha qualified from one of the best leagues in the world ergo could be called one of the worlds greatest teams. Stoney - Bayern are only in the Uefa cup, ergo they aren't that good. Superstar Tradesman
So people are willing to take the best part of a week off work, travel thousands of miles, spending hundreds of Euros to see AFC play in Madrid/München. But they can't work their lunch and knock off an hour early to get across town?

If he can't get to Pittodrie for a 6pm kick off then does this mean he can't get to Tynecastle for a 7.45 kick off?
