KennyFuckinPowers Posted December 14, 2021 Report Posted December 14, 2021 Not a lover of Bob Dylan truth be told, which I always get strange looks for considering I am Springsteen daft. But I like this sort of stuff from him. Quote
Elgindon Posted December 20, 2021 Report Posted December 20, 2021 Festive funk - The fearless flyers Quote
tom_widdows Posted February 6, 2022 Report Posted February 6, 2022 My regular podcasts were getting a bit dull so spent an afternoon listening to stories/ documentries about Brian Clough. Real loss to the game Quote
DixieNormous Posted March 20, 2022 Report Posted March 20, 2022 WARNING - The song below may offend some. Personally think it's the best Love song ever written Quote
SeeBass Posted March 24, 2022 Report Posted March 24, 2022 About a month ago we were just roaming YouTube and came across this Belgian girl doing a Live version of her song Ragamuffin and just loved her presence. Went to see if she had new material out so for a laugh ordered 2022's "Persona" CD which is travelling to the flat from France as we speak. Below is a single from this collection. Must say we do like overall vibe regarding woman herself. Quote
Elgindon Posted March 30, 2022 Report Posted March 30, 2022 ^^Like it.. Easy listening with Aoife O'Donovan, new album Quote
scotfree Posted April 16, 2022 Report Posted April 16, 2022 Saw this band lave a few years ago. They were excellent. Quote
BigAl Posted May 12, 2022 Report Posted May 12, 2022 Was going through a box of CDs in the loft and found this one. Couldn't tell you the last time I listened to it to be honest. Stuck it on whilst populating spreadsheets on the laptop and listened through headphones. Appreciate it isn't everyone's cup of tea but by fuck it still sounds fucking fantastic and I was transported into my own wee world Quote
SeeBass Posted May 29, 2022 Report Posted May 29, 2022 Was watching a tribute to Manchester City winning the league last week. It had this song on in background. I love when a football video has right music to it!!! Given Citeh have won two league title ten year apart on final day by score of 3-2 and the uphill battle it was both times we bet their support would appreciate the lyric within this corker!!! Quote
SeeBass Posted June 8, 2022 Report Posted June 8, 2022 I bought the most recent White Lies album blindly as we have a habit of choosing my new music that way. Basically because one has been struggling mentally lately we chose 'As I Try Not To Fall Apart' and so glad as I've now heard this absolute gem below. Started doing 'Air Guitar' naked the riff which is pretty obvious did something to my damaged brain to give it some respite for a few hours. Quote
SeeBass Posted June 11, 2022 Report Posted June 11, 2022 I'm not sure if a Drum Cover video is allowed but we can't stop watching this. Never been a fan of Michael Jackson but way Mr Moffett does hit those two cymbal behind him at 3:44 is just captivating beyond belief. Quote
BigAl Posted September 30, 2022 Report Posted September 30, 2022 Kind of stumbled across this early 80's album on my Spotify feed from ex Traffic member Jim Capaldi. Well worth a listen. Quote
SeeBass Posted October 21, 2022 Report Posted October 21, 2022 Isn't this track quite apt given the absolute circus going on with Tory Government right now? Cracking song though. Quote
