Being an old git think music finished in 1969...but was reading the Guardian's over-by-over on the India v England test match (the English were getting absolutely mullered!) and somebody posted this and just thought the video was terrific and the song's pretty good too.

Just paid a visit to my loft and been raking through the boxes and boxes of CD's, cassettes and vinyl I have accumulated over the years. To say my musical tastes have changed over the decades is a major understatement.

Decided I going to share with you all / bore you with my trip down memory lane as I post what I happen to be listening to at the time of typing,

Starting with this beauty

A belter of a tune, which I played to death( as a budding drummer) on the old Sony Walkman, trying to emulate(failed) John Bonhams bass drum triplets. What a drummer though...

Bonham easily my fav deummer of all time. Bill Ward from Sabbath was excellent too, but nobody compared to Bonham

Ringo, not even the greatest drummer in The Beatles. But then, same could be said about Lars Ulrich, I watched a drum-off between him and James Hetfield ... Lars lost

Forty five years old this year.

By fuck this is still an album and a half (well actually it is a double album)

The variety of musical genres they put on here is immense, with a bit of punk, rockabilly, ska, jazz, R&B and reggae.

To the youngsters on here, if you've never listened to this before, do yourself a favour and go listen

Been waiting 8 years for Nero's third album. Two of the band members have been off living a normal life and raising a child. But this, their 3rd album, is a brilliant nod to their first two, whilst bringing theirs under bang up to date at the same time
