The Doricle Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 Mudhoney- Superfuzz Bigmuff EP. Currently listening to In & out of grace. Recently bought it on CD after stupidly selling my vinyl copy on ebay. Quelle un grand Twat! Loving reliving my youth. Quote

The Doricle Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 I also bought 'every good boy deserves fudge' at the same time. Only had one quick skim through it so far, but as with so many bands their earliest stuff is the my favourite so far. I really love 'touch me i'm sick' and the other frazzled stuff from earlier on. Surely this is what listening to music while drowning in a swamp would sound like! Quote

Kowalski Posted August 28, 2008 Author Report Posted August 28, 2008 Listening to stuff for the Connect festival - Santogold, Crystal Castles, Late of The Pier, Sigur Ros, Spiritualized, Mercury Rev, Karl Bartos, Levellers, Sparks etc... Quote
The Doricle Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Sonic Youth also do a version of touch me I'm sick. That's one band i've never really got into. They've had some songs that i've quite liked, and i even bought a couple of albums ages ago, but just never really took to them. But then, i never reallly dug the pixies until a few years ago, when it just suddenly clicked and i bought every album except tromp de le monde. Which i must try to remember and pick up some time. But theres about 50 years worth of music i have to check out yet, so i never seem to remember at the right time. Quote
