Elgindon
The original singer Tim Elliott was still fronting them until very recently.Thought his lifestyle(allegedly) might have caught up with him before now,but fair play.....
BigAl
Don't know that band at all ED, but have to say that was a thoroughly enjoyable track. Away to find a bit more of their stuff if its out there.

BigAl
Total change of genre, but keep coming back to this band and this album in particular. Absolutely sublime and fucking love it
Elgindon
Wasnt aware of that B 'n T album, but 3 belters right at the start On a related note,I remember liking a type of music on the radio that I hadnt heard before, and wondering what the heck you called the style of music(the boy never gave out the name at the end).Bugged me for a while til I saw a flier for a Blues n Trouble gig in town.Hadnt heard of them before but the word 'Blues' rang a bell. Popped along to the Venue(1987) for a swatch, and it turned out the blues was the genre I was unfamiliar with.Still one of the best gigs Ive been to. BigAl
Got the vinyl out and playing it loud. Back in '74/75 listening to the gravel vocals of Dan McCafferty. Incredible to think that they have now been on the go for FIFTY years and Pete Agnew an orginal member is still there Not much work getting done today. Madbadteacher
another of my favourites there Al. Always thought Dan McCafferty would have been a better replacement for Bon Scott than Brian Johnson? Anyway

rocket_scientist
Utterly outstanding Gents. I almost forgot Nazareth existed. I had never heard that version of Vigilante Man. I really like the Ry Cooder one but this is better. On a more current note and changing the vibe completely, I heard this on Radio 6 this morning and really like: -

I tend to forget about here, don't post half as much as I used to on the hat either. Quite like the new album from Hookworms aswell but only given it one listen so far.
