Nig Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 With Uniteds game off today, Sky have said the only day they can show the game is next Thursday which would mean our game maybe being punted to the Sunday............... Discuss Quote
Penfold Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 And we'd hopefully tell them to feck off as we were put in that position last season and Motherwell refused to move. If United want the Sky money they will just have to play Thursday - Saturday. Quote
BigAl Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 I'll tell you what if we don't make them play on the Sat I for one will be fucking raging. Well known that Thomson hates AFC, so fuck them Quote
Penfold Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Will most certainly be on Saturday now as we have the Falkirk replay on the Tuesday night. Quote
ptkdon Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 It better not be Sunday, people have hotels booked for a night out in Dundee afterwards I see the trains aren't running between Aberdeen and Dundee next weekend too, which is a pain in the ass!!! Quote
Madbadteacher Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 Even Murdo MacLeod on the radio said we should tell the jutes to GTF re moving the game to the Sunday... Quote
Ajja Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 I hate these situations. UTD ask us to do something we should, by rights, say no to, so we do. They then get the hump and are so fucked off that they come out and play like men possessed to teach us a lesson about something that was unreasonable for them to ask in the first place. Quote
Montana Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 Even Murdo MacLeod on the radio said we should tell the jutes to GTF re moving the game to the Sunday... I cant believe that Dons hating buffoon actually said something sensible. Quote
BigAl Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 Ushited cup game now going ahead on wed night with 7.45pm kick off, if anyone actually gives a toss Quote
Ajja Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 Really fancying Clyde to spring those monkeys. Especially in a cold, midweek game where UTD take the square root of jack shit supporters. Levein revolution meltdown. Quote

Ajja Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 No. Clyde are shit. Where is your sense of romance ? I predicted Clyde would take Celtic in the cup a few years back when we were coming home from a game and everyone laughed then too. Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 Where is your sense of romance ? I predicted Clyde would take Celtic in the cup a few years back when we were coming home from a game and everyone laughed then too. Clyde weren't shit then though mate. They absolutely are now. Still, no harm in letting a little of the romance of the cup spill over their way! Quote

Still, no harm in letting a little of the romance of the cup spill over their way! Aye OK, so its all just wishful thinking...leave me with that at least Incidently, any one have an idea how many tickets are sold for the game ? Eddie Thompson keeps talking about a sell out but I fear we will not sell out our end. Too many games, too little entertainment. Quote
Reekie_Red Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 Clyde weren't shit then though mate. But that was vs Shellick! This is vs Yooshited!!! Regardless of how shite Clyde are now in comparison to then, sure in proportion they are equally up to the task of bumping those arab minkers out of the cup as they were to beating the tims. Quote

Regardless of how shite Clyde are now in comparison to then, sure in proportion they are equally up to the task of bumping those arab minkers out of the cup as they were to beating the tims. They may well be, but I saw Clyde play Thistle earlier this season (big Glasgow Derby), and Clyde were possibly the worst senior team I've ever seen. Although, United are probably about the second worst... Quote
Drew Peacock Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 i hope we've got Stuart Duff on board by then... Quote

Ajja Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 With Hart out and Foster doubtful does that mean we are going to have 'Mare & Byrne in the full back positions again No Miller up front as well. Could be a tough one. Is Mackie fit to play yet ? I'd like to see Aluko, Smith and Lovell up against the plodders in UTDs defence. I reckon Lovell would feed well from balls played in through the channels on the deck. Quote
minijc Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 We may have duff in the side before the game come saturday which will be another problem. Quote

glasgow sheep Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Cash turnstiles tomorrow as still 3000 unsold tickets for our end Quote
BigAl Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Cash turnstiles tomorrow as still 3000 unsold tickets for our end Fecking hell we must be taking our smallest crowd to Tannadice for a long time then then again, with the number of games we're having in a short period of time, the expense is starting to mount up Quote
