topcorner Posted April 9, 2015 Report Posted April 9, 2015 Anybody else excited about it? Who are you tipping to win the thing? I usually win a lot of money from Edinburghdon with golf betting but he’s fucked off on a boat so I need another way to make some profit from it. I can’t see Tiger doing much despite him being 3rd/4th favourite. Quote
manc_don Posted April 10, 2015 Report Posted April 10, 2015 Always watch the final day! Just to make sure I don't lose money to you Quote
Garlogie_Granite Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 Always exciting, signals the starting gun for the golf season. Interesting to see if Speith hings on, there's been a helluva record of front-runners throwing away even the biggest of leads this season. And he's a young loon to be winning a major, two days to go, lot of golf to come. His to lose tho, two rounds of level par might be good enough. Quote
Madbadteacher Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 The commentary teams over here are so, so happy it's not a "damn foreigner" leading. They LOVE Speith Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 Took Rose last night at 5/1. Cheering him on tonight but just hope it's a decent spectacle more than anything... too many majors recently have been non events. Quote
manc_don Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 Shame that Rose dropped a shot on the last hole. Speith doesn't seem to be budging or faltering at all. Quote

Far from faltering, he is actually pulling away from the chasers. Going to take a monumental collapse now for him not to win. A very controlled and mature performance from him. Quote

Rory had a better day of it yesterday as did hideki and mickelson. Quote
rocket_scientist Posted April 13, 2015 Report Posted April 13, 2015 Record breaking by Spieth. Phenomenal performance. Quote
BigAl Posted April 13, 2015 Report Posted April 13, 2015 Record breaking by Spieth. Phenomenal performance. Can't really disagree with that. As the Americans would say he won it "wire to wire" Quote
