County supporting mate asked me about this yesterday. Should we be giving the tims  one on Sunday? The thought makes me sick to my back teeth but it can be argued that it would show a touch of class

It's sickening, but I think we should too, and not stop to their level.

I would however expect a round of applause for our players as they line up, then a massive fucking boo as the dirty smelly minks come out, and then a round of applause for our players again as their 'guard' breaks up.

We should rise above their level of pettiness and lack of class.

Team can line up with guard of honour.

Any fan feeling strongly enough against it, simply turns their back upon events.

Then we set about them and spoil their day oot.

did we get a guard of honour in the game after we won the league cup? genuinely can't remember. can't see celtic ever doing a guard of honour for another team after they had won a trophy.

Kilmarnock offered,  we said no thanks apparently

We, and every other team in the league show Celtic and Rangers (deceased) far too much respect. It'll sting my ring giving them a guard of honour in all honesty. But I will go with whatever the club decide.

It shows we are a professional club which is exactly how it should be - it will be over in no time and if we ever win the cup or the league and are due at Celtic Park the next game it will be returned haha

Lets get it the fuck over with and hopefully it fires our players up to get one bloody result against the tims this season

Maybe the players could all stand there and point to their 2stars on the shirts... keep trying Tims, keep trying.

The 2nd star might mean a bit more if the super cup had been around in 1967. Also European cup still trumps cup winners cup

Personally that star thing lost whatever little significance it had the moment they handed it over to Club football.

As hebrew said just get it done with
