I think at the start of the season I said something like

League: 4th

CIS Cup: Quarters

Scottish Cup: Semis

UEFA Cup: 1st Round

Now...

League: 4th

CIS Cup: Runners Up

Scottish Cup: Semis

UEFA Cup: Last 32

So pretty much going to plan, but christ it's turgid stuff.

League: 3rd - by at least 10 points

CIS Cup: Winners

Scottish Cup: Winners

UEFA Cup: Last 16 (going out in the last minute of injury time in the second half of extra time of the 2nd leg - on away goals)

Uefa cup bits only so you can actually be fit to make another game in europe.

Might take until the final to be up to match fitness though  :o

You talking about yourself or the majority of our squad?!?

We'll scrape a win against Falkirk in the scottish cup. All depends on the draw provided we beat hamilton in the next round so impossible to predict.

We'll get beaten by Dundee United in the CIS semi as Calderwood seems incapable of sussing out Craig Levein's teams (our home game a couple of months ago aside, our record and displays against united are both completely shit.)

We'll get beaten by Bayern Munich at home and away.  If our defence stays as it is at the moment then it'll be a rugby score.

The league is too open to predict IMO.  Top six, but given some of our displays and our away form i'm not even sure of that justnow.

I'm normally quite an optomistic wee soul, but i think saturday has sapped me of a lot of that... ::)

The success of our domestic campaign will be decided in the next 10 days. Unfortunately I'm not optimistic:

League - 5th at best

CIS Cup - knocked out by DUFC next week

Scottish Cup - might sneak past Falkirk tomorrow

UEFA Cup - The journey ends in Munich on 21st Feb

Unfortunately we've been struggling to find any form in recent games. Just look at the stats from Saturday. In 90 minutes we had 1 shot on target, 1 corner and no goals.

Now it's easy to point the finger at the strikers (and esp Lovell whose face clearly doesn't fit), but we just don't create enough:

Inability to defend + zero creativity + unwillingness to gamble and have a shot at goal = mediocrity

Only my opinion and for the record I hope I'm proved wrong tomorrow and next Tuesday - just can't see it though.

I'd agree about the cups, however I think the league's going to go right till the end
