thestooge
Rumour on Abdn Mad that the TBC is Cologne. It seems odd that both the TBC game and Brighton game are scheduled between the legs of Euro qualifiers. Developing match sharpness or unnecessary risk? It seems odd that both the TBC game and Brighton game are scheduled between the legs of Euro qualifiers. Developing match sharpness or unnecessary risk? Two mediocre teams IMO, but as they are friendlies and probably of the calibre of opposition we will face it's probably no bad thing. More of the former than the latter imo. I'd like to hope so anyway.
manc_don
I see we're playing St. Johnstone at Glebe Park 4 days before our first Europa League qualifier. Seems like an odd choice given that both won't want to get injured? Find out our European opponents on 22nd June
Tyrant
I guess it's to give us a warm up against a less shit team to warm us up properly for Europe.

BigAl
Rooney again today in 1-0 win over St Johnstone. Another penalty, surely we must have used up our season's allocation already.

Jute
Dons won 2-0 with goals from Goodwillie and Taylor in 2nd half. Fringe players struggled in first half with Rovers hitting post twice. Better in second half when we brought on 5 first team players. Quinn impressed again and looks like he will be a decent acquisition.

Jute
Did goodwillie play well jute? Took his goal well and a couple of other nice touches but also a few times were he looked as disinterested as usual.

wi_09
Took his goal well and a couple of other nice touches but also a few times were he looked as disinterested as usual. Spot on Jute!! He did take his goal well - ball was lucky to fall to him IMO but he showed his strikers instinct to turn and finish it well. At times he was like a huffy teenager and at one point he looked like he was raging with Shankland when it wasn't fair.
hilton
regards Goodwillie he had couple decent touches yesterday but stands still after laying the ball aff, he never gets himself across defenders when balls fired in fae out wide. Last season he had at least 6 or 7 chances with just the keeper beat and he missed the lot. So what is he bringing to the team apart fae coming on the pitch and nae giving a fuck because that's fit it looks like . So if its just Rooney and him as our main options this season we will struggle , can anybody see him coming good and looking like the player that got him big move down south, I canna and would love see him moved on this window. he might prove me wrang hope he does. thomsod
he looks like he thinks he's too good for this league so doesn't put the effort in. absolutely agree that we need another striker in, even just to provide a bit of cover or give us something a bit different up front.
