manc_don Posted May 15, 2015 Report Posted May 15, 2015 Would be good to get back to winning ways. I'd like to see a few more youngsters get a chance to see what they can do given that second place is confirmed. We also have a number of players bordering suspensions for this game so would be a good opportunity to mix things up. Could see Smith line up with Robson through the middle. THE Dons will be missing five key players for their trip to Dundee on Saturday. Mark Reynolds and Niall McGinn will both be rested for the Premiership match at Dens Park. Meanwhile, midfield trio Ryan Jack, Kenny McLean and Willo Flood will be sidelined to avoid suspension. All three players are sitting on five yellow cards from this season. That paves the way for youngsters Scott Wright, Daniel Harvie and Frank Ross to step up into contention for a starting slot in the first team. Aberdeen FC secured second spot a few weeks ago, which allows boss Derek McInnes to be more creative with his team selection for the closing matches. In/out: Out Prematcher: Flat Match: Twickenham Rugby 7's Postmatcher: Pub Prediction: 2-1 Dons, Smith and Logan Quote

Jute Posted May 15, 2015 Report Posted May 15, 2015 Dundee have run us close in every game this season so do not fancy our chances with a weakened team tomorrow. Cannot believe Dundee want £25 for a meaningless game tomorrow. Price combined with minimal train service between Edinburgh and Dundee tomorrow mean I will be giving this a miss. In/out: Out Prematcher: Flat Match: Dalkeith v Dundonald Bluebell Postmatcher: Flat Prediction: 2-1 Dundee with Shankland scoring for Dons. Quote

BigAl Posted May 15, 2015 Report Posted May 15, 2015 As Jute has already said £25 for this game is just ripping the piss out of football supporters. End of season, meaningless game. £15 adults/£5 kids max. Quote
manc_don Posted May 17, 2015 Author Report Posted May 17, 2015 How did we play? Have to say when I saw the team line up I was slightly disappointed we didn't have more of an experimental side. Fair play to Rooney, another goal and he wasn't even starting! Quote
tlg1903 Posted May 17, 2015 Report Posted May 17, 2015 Extended highlights just started on alba Quote
manc_don Posted May 18, 2015 Author Report Posted May 18, 2015 Looks like we played really well and were unfortunate to go behind. Goodwillie should have scored and Smith was unlucky. Terrible "defending" for their goal though, clearly no communication at all. Quote
