mizer Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Read in the metro newspaper this morning that Aluko had done in his hamstring and would be out for 6 weeks. Real pity as he is the only player we have who can really take on players with his pace. Quote
bilbobaggins Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Nae loss whatsoever in my opinion. Quote

Superstar Tradesman Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Nae loss whatsoever in my opinion. More or less my opinion of him so far. Would be a lot more dangerous if he just knocked a ball into space or behind a defender and ran at them but tends to tippy-tappy-tease a player until he's got two more around him and he loses the ball. Sort of like Zero, without the decent shots on target or the sulking. Quote
Kowalski Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 SONE BLOW FOR DONS AS INJURY RULES OUT WINGER 12:00 - 25 January 2008 Aberdeen's loan star Sone Aluko looks set to miss the UEFA Cup showdown with Bayern Munich next month. The Birmingham winger suffered a hamstring strain in the reserve defeat to Inverness Caley Thistle. Dons boss Jimmy Calderwood has already resigned himself to losing Aluko for up to six weeks. He said: "Sone suffered a real sore one in the reserves which is an absolute nightmare." Richie Byrne (hamstring), Karim Touzani (knee) and Michael Hart (hip) are all out of tomorrow's clash with Hearts. Defender Lee Mair is back in contention after struggling with the flu while Richard Foster has recovered from an Achilles problem. Dutch defender Dave Bus has signed until the end of the season and will also be in the squad. Quote
Holyjoe Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 This dude's only on loan, should it not be Bus who's picked up the injury? That's how these things usually work out... Quote
