mizer Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Just incase.... Fae earlier on Aberdeen U19 players Stuart Smith and Neil McVitie have joined Scottish Second Division side Peterhead on loan until the end of the season. The Blue Toon are now managed by former Gothenburg great Neale Cooper. Think that is a good move for the two of them. Also Michael Paton, who is on loan at Brechin City, has extended his loan period until the end of the season. Quote
Mackie's ace! Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 What other U21s do we have to put on the bench now? Quote
Dandyjam Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 What other U21s do we have to put on the bench now? Josh Walker and that's it other than who is already there - Jonathan Smith, Maguire, Considine. Is Dan Smith still under 21? Struggling if any of these get injured! Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Gary Dempsey [Yeovil - St Patricks Athletic] Free :rofl2: weird one, he scored for them the other night. Quote

Struggling if any of these get injured! Dan Smith I believe still qualifies cos it's age at start of the season, and he wasn't 21 until later last year, October maybe? Akuko as well. Quote

BigAl Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Chick Young saying Robson went for 1.25million to celtic Nae the first to go there for more than a million and warm the bench, and won't be the last Quote
mizer Posted January 31, 2008 Author Report Posted January 31, 2008 Richard Gordon laughing at a hook on Jambos kickback, apparently they thought Hardeep Singh Kohli was signing for them I think El Padre can take this further Quote
Wayneo Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 We've signed Ex jambo Alan Maybury till the end of the season and killie are fooked now Colin nish signed for hibs Quote

Ajja Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Thank fuck. Won't have to look at this..... Quote
brownie Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Thank fuck. Won't have to look at this..... Good for kicking folk with no foreskin but couldnt see him in an Aberdeen shirt. None big enough for a start. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Have to say Ajja, if we could have got hartson it would have been a real coup for us. think he would have done a job for us and certainly shows a bit more imagination in the transfer market - as does the signing of Maybury, so credit to JC for that one. Quote
Penfold Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 We're not safe yet. Hartson, Bob Malcom and Ryan Esson are all free agents and therefore can sign for people outwith the transfer window. Quote

I'm with the Biscuit man on this one. Think Hartson could have done a right good job for us. Quote

manc_don Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 Is hartson not completely past it??? Would have taken him after Celtic, not so sure about now. Him and Lee Miller up front? Not exactly pacey is it. Quote
stonefish100 Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 Anybody see Hartson for WBA? He is totally past it, the guy literally cant move. No way I would want him up here. Quote
Monkey Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 Hartson would be a waste of time for Aberdeen, one of his main talents was winning free kicks against defenders. Lee Miller plays in exactly the same way but gets only about a third of the number of fouls. Difference is when Hartson won the fouls he was playing for one of the old firm, so if he signed for us he'd just be another Lee Miller and wouldn't get any of the decisions. Or am I just being cynical? Quote

TheChimp Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 I'm SURE they said Sanjeev Kohli mizer... I'm going to have to side with Sneckie on that one. Silly Mizer. Quote
Mackie's ace! Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 Indeed. Anyway, it makes more sense as Padre was 'out' with SK last night and not the other dude, who incidentally is a contender to be the new rector of Glasgow University. Quote

I take your point, my late night post was more in terms of having to see the ugly bastard in our colours (couldn't find a picture of him in a tight wales kit and fat). Quote
