WeegieRed
If going by the ticket sales on the website (and I've taken into account large sections of the RDU haven't been released for sale yet), by my reckoning there's just over 12,000 tickets been sold for Saturday. Good to see this early in the week. That won't count the away support either who may come up in numbers after a decent start to the season (and unfortunately a good record against us). Jute
Would expect Saturday to be one of our larger home gates of the season.

Tyrant
Aye, they probably hate us more than their pretend larger neighbours. 14,786 Add another 1,000 if the sun is shining No way. They'd all have to queue up for tickets rather than pay at the gate.
capitalred
No way. They'd all have to queue up for tickets rather than pay at the gate. my unsure if being sarcastic reply if the sun is beating down (ok, a wee bit far fetched) and a 1000 extra folk did quite fancy taking in the silky red machine in action, i dare say a fair few would be put off at discovering the "not being able to just turn up on a whim and pay in" palavar. but they could go in the Dundee end, its doing PATG blue joot at work rekons they might bring 1500 up, hopefully 13/14k of REDS and it would make for a very decent crowd
WeegieRed
I know it's a bit Hearts-esk dot counting on the website, but by my reckoning we've sold 13,077 tickets for the Dundee game. That doesn't take into account the away support. I would guess at an attendance of around 13,500, considering there's always season ticket holders who don't turn up. hilton
aye jute guy was working with. reckons near to 2k there taking up , but reckon he is getting bit excited, his fav Dundee player is Cammy Fraser, he is also a joiner with two missing fingers . WeegieRed
13,621 the crowd. Pretty decent numbers. I'd like to think we can get over 14,000 average for this season. Next home game v Celtic hopefully a sell out.

WeegieRed
Looking at the Aberdeen website, even taking into account the sections of the RDU which wont be up for sale yet, there seems to be 16,200 tickets sold already (including the Celtic support). 4,000 to be sold in less than 3 weeks? Easy.
hilton
be well pissed if we don't sell out the tim game . good thing about it there will be a break after Saturday and the two week build up to the game in the press etc will get abody buzzing and sell it out

WeegieRed
I now work out that it's 17,700 sold for Celtic (and I've included the RDS tickets not yet released for sale) but would have thought the club would have announced it had sales got to that high, so I'm sure I'm missing something. WeegieRed
After they announced that I went and had a look at the online ticket sales, and I still worked out 18,500 sold. So either that number doesn't include away fans, or there's 2,000 seats not released for sale online.
Andrew
It won't include the tickets for the away end. Why would boast about Celtic selling tickets?
WeegieRed
It won't include the tickets for the away end. Why would boast about Celtic selling tickets? Because it would give a false impression that there are 4,000 tickets left, when there might only be 2,000 left?
