If Hayes really tore his hamstring I doubt he'd be back as soon as next week, more likely a bad strain. Either way, great news if he is back soon, we're a much more dynamic team with him in it.

Long time BTR! How're things?

Agree with you completely, just hope he will be fit, and sufficiently so.

Following the speculation, EE are now reporting that "club sources" have confirmed that Hayes is going nowhere.  Anyone would need to break the transfer fee paid for Jess (£1.75m).

Would like to believe that that is true, but still think we'd crumble if someone offered close to £1million

Daily express catching up it seems, or the evening express got it wrong  ;D

Anyway, the express saying he's getting a new deal,  nothing on their site yet, would be wise if these Ireland calls become a regular occurrence.

I see he was an unused sub... kept out by James McLean.  :-\

I know he plays for a EPL team so that auotomatically makes him better than Johnny does it?!

I know who i'd rather play.

James McLean of all folk.

Just hope that the trip away and extra training hasn't done his hamstring any damage.
