wee toon red Posted February 1, 2018 Report Posted February 1, 2018 His second goal last night was absolutely typical Rooney and shows why he, and the team, suffered so much from losing McGinn and Hayes at the same time. Quote

Spot on. I think we’ll see the Rooney of old in the second half of the season. Mcginn being the reason for it. Doesn’t stop him from being a limited striker but he’s the best we have and I’m glad we have him. Quote
SeeBass Posted February 1, 2018 Report Posted February 1, 2018 I take it they've given him the equaliser against Kilmarnock? Quote

The goal against county mid-week was a classic Rooney/McGinn combo. He either thinks he can or is being asked to, play way outside the box this season and he's wasted. May can play that way, but Rooney can't. He's very similar to Boyd. Get others to do the running and get him in the box. Goals will happen. Quote
