Jute Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 Surprised there is no game thread up for this yet as game is tomorrow. Really need to win this one as imo our season hinges on doing very well in the Scottish Cup as realistically it is our only chance of winning something this season following the shambles at Easter Road. We have been comfortably the better team in the two league meetings this season so should be confident of being able to beat them again. Having a card happy clown like Beaton in charge should help us as well as I doubt he will let Hearts away with the rough house tatics of the last game at Pittodrie. That said game is Tynecastle and our recent record there speaks for itself. In Edinburgh City Social Club Away end Pub in town 3-1 Dons Rooney double and Hayes Quote
Goldie03 Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 In Hairdresser then same as Jute Away End Pub in town I think it will be close - Rooney Quote
Leftside Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 For those in the.middle east the match is on BeIN sport 13, so should be English commentary. Quote
BigAl Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 In Driving Away end Driving 2-1 Rooney & Taylor Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Ward Logan Taylor Reynolds Considine Shine Flood Hayes MacLean McGinn Rooney Bench: Brown, Robson, Pawlett, Goodwillie, Storrie, Smith, Quinn. Strong team. Lets blow these hammer throwers out the water. COYR!!!! Quote
tlg1903 Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Our best available 11 at the moment. 2 nil dons, MacLean and Rooney Quote
rocket_scientist Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 All these win predictions. I predict the opposite. Quote
rocket_scientist Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 I'm not taking the blame for the maroon cunts scoring after I posted that! Ironically the last game here was the best performance I've ever seen from us this century. Quote
ayrshire_don74 Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Shitting it again ? Mclean certainly did Quote
tom_widdows Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Fuck sake I have a bad feeling about this one. Was positive till Liam Mcleod said 'Shinnie moved forward to midfield' Quote
rocket_scientist Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 EXACTLY my reasoning Tom. Shinnie is a class Left Back. That cunt should've made it two. Thruppeny-bit heid. Quote
ayrshire_don74 Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Considine isnt good enough at lb rabbit headlights Quote
tom_widdows Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 I dont think Reynolds will finish the game at this rate Quote
ayrshire_don74 Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Shitting it all over the park a gubbing Quote
tom_widdows Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 oh dear god the throw-in tactic from the Miller/ Hegarty era has returned again Quote
Leftside Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 This reminds me of the Roos county away match, being completely smothered in midfield and up front. Hayes and McGinn need to get into this game and get behind their defense. Hundreds if not thousands of empty seats in the home stands, Quote
tom_widdows Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 The midfield seems to be non existent. Ward's gesture when he received a pass-back and looked up to find no options up the field so ended up having to hit an aimless pass is really concerning but not as much as the laurel and hardy defending which sees hearts corners turn into immediate crosses from just outside or even inside the penalty box and what the fuck Rooney was up to. Priority is making half time with only 1 conceded. Quote
rocket_scientist Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 The question is why, if this was our only chance of a trophy - and it is - did we come out as such a fucking shambles? Quote
Leftside Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Very very lucky only to be 1 down. Out muscled all over the pitch. Quote
BobbyBiscuit Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Reynolds once again being bullied, he really has to be stronger and is probably the reason he won't ever become an international (or a regular one at least). There aren't enough options coming from midfield, that is true, but fuck me.... Taylor with the ball at his feet is an utter disaster area. Why does he persist with this shitey wee chip down the right wing? It's not just today, he does it every fucking week. It never works. Just fucking stop it. If it's not that it's the hoof up the park to no-one. Why is Robson on the bench if he isn't trusted to come on today for an hour? If he can't last an hour or if the manager doesn't trust him, he shouldn't be picking up a wage from us. We now have McLean out of position and no real steel in the middle of the pitch which is the thing that is hurting us all over the pitch. 45 minutes now to save this. Time for DM to step up and get a performance - and a result - out of this. Quote
ayrshire_don74 Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Reynolds is 5'11 and 11 st however he is decent defender but in game like this quinn should be ahead of him, i am beginning to form the opinion mcinnes is going through the motions Quote
