Old Robsons legs may have been gone but his experience will be an asset to the club I am sure.

I get the impression he's the type of character that's going to make a cracking coach then manager some day.

 

I guess it's win win for us, all the benefit of his experience at presumably a fraction of the price.

Excellent news, at least he'll be less likely to get sent off 

 

The way he speaks both in interviews and on RedTV shows that he has an in depth knowledge and i'm glad the club recognise it. Think he'll be an excellent coach

I guess it comes down to there being no incentive for him to make the move at the end of last season, sure he still thought he had something left in the tank.  Add that to the fact he was still under contract then he would have been mad to have retired.

 

I agree it would have suited us more if he had though!
